- From $277.81 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 8.4Very Good - What previous guests thought, 2,003 reviewsA real treasure in the heart of Florence! It’s exactly what it’s called. Villa Royal! Loved everything here! The garden with the pool was stunning. The room was big and good equipped and the A/C and gorgeous pool was helpful in the Florenz summer days. 15 minutes walk to the Duomo. Many great restaurants on the way. A grocery store ( Carrefur ) is next door. Looking for a city hotel with parking, that’s it. It’s just so beautiful like being under the Tuscan sun but in the middle of the city! Grazie tanto I will be back!Guest review byAThailand
- Scored out of 10, guest rating 8.3Very Good - What previous guests thought, 300 reviewsWe had a wonderful stay at Castellare de Tonda! The staff were amazing – always helpful and full of great recommendations for places to visit, which made our trip even more special. The place really gives you the authentic feeling of agriturismo, and we had everything we needed during our stay. The pool area is lovely with an incredible view, and we especially appreciated staying in the area with more families – it was perfect for us and our kids. Highly recommended!. Wonderful city. Would definitely come back. Food was excellent. Lots to see and do, Did day trips with Ciao Florence and Walkabout tours and both were excellent. Recommend Piazzale Michaelangelo for wonderful views of the city and mountains, though it can get crowded there at sunset.Guest review byIanAustralia - 8.0

Florence has impressive sites, but even though we arrived in September, the city was very crowded and in some places it was difficult to move comfortably. We waited almost an hour to enter the Duomo and perhaps we could have used the time better.Guest review bynirIsrael - 10.0
Amazing property - exceeds expectations in every way.
Amazing property - exceeds expectations in every way. The staff, the scenery, the luxe and comfy room decor, the lovely upgrade, and all the wonderful wine and food on property and in nearby Montefioralle and Greve. SO worth the trip. I wish we were here in the warmer months to make use of that beautiful pool with the to-die-for view!!!Guest review byAlisonUnited States - 6.0

The place I stayed was great, the owner was so sweet that she was willing to give me a ride to the train station by my departure. The breakfasts that she made was very delicious and at the time I needed (for Tuscany tour i needed to leave at 6:30am instead of regular breakfast at 7:30am) she prepared it for me. Only some minus I would give to a distance from the train station to the property. But from other hand it was a good exercise:)Guest review byElenaUnited States - 6.0

San Casciano is remote in the beautiful Tuscan Hills, although just 40 minutes slow drive to Florence The hotel is 7 minutes outside the town, so walking is difficult. Need a car to go anywhere. Taxis are not available. This hotel is pretty good, but the much-acclaimed restaurant is, at best, just above average and pricey. Claims to be "special" but isn't! Terrace dining is romantic but watch the wasps in the daytime and mosquitos in the evening. Swmming pool fairly small and crowded. Grounds are pristine and lots of lovely bougainvillea. Reception staff smile a lot. Huge carpark!Guest review byLaurenceUnited Kingdom - 10.0

there is a beautiful lake, many places to park for free or a nice marina that rents beach chairs , with full service bar and restaurant, paddle rent, etc. there is a race track with regular events, golf course near by and a famous shopping outlet, and its only 40 min from Florence.Guest review byandreklein75Brazil - 10.0

Figline is an excellent small Italian town with classic piazza and narrow streets. It has excellent cafes and bars, with a range of cuisines and prices in the local restaurants. Everyone we met were friendly, and it was great to eat and drink in the piazza. Train station gives access to Florence, Arezzo and many other towns, and further afield to Pisa and Rome.Guest review byPeterUnited Kingdom - 10.0

Fiesole has many sites to explore with its fantastic amphitheatre, monastery and cathedral. It has some excellent restaurants and local shops. We loved the Snooty Fox with its delicious authentic Italian food, Terrazza with its roof terrace with amazing views over Florence, Pizzeria Buca delle Fate, Ristorante BISTROT AL 5. Anyone who likes hiking in between city visits, will find some beautiful nature walks.Guest review byHenrikeUnited Kingdom - 10.0
This place was incredible.
This place was incredible. The property was beautiful and so well kept. The owner, Alex, could t have done more to make sure we were comfortable in our stay and went out of his way to make sure we had everything we needed. He was really friendly, great with our kids and made us feel like we were at home. The rooms were so well decorated, the beds comfy and Alex had great recommendations for exploring the area nearby. I wouldn’t hesitate to come back in an instant.Guest review byGEORGEUnited Kingdom - 8.0
Florence is a very nice place for people who love art.
Florence is a very nice place for people who love art. Even in October, however, there were a lot of tourists and the crowds in the galleries are tiring. We had previously bought a Firenze card online, which allows you to visit many museums in 72 hours, but first you need to validate it and get a plastic card, and the organization for this is bad and we lost two hours: Uffizi opens at 8:15, but you can validate the card at the earliest at 9, after which you wait in a long line again. The restaurants in the city center are numerous and affordable, be sure to try the ice cream. I was very impressed by the church of Santa Croce and the Palaco Piti.Guest review byMarinaBulgaria
