- Scored out of 10, guest rating 8.7Excellent - What previous guests thought, 92 reviewsThe hotel garden was incredible and the whole setting picture perfect! A generous breakfast was provided on a lovely piazzetta under the trees, the menu and wine list at the restaurant were very good, the bars and the pool/sea area were all generously setup. The golf cart provided was most useful given how the hotel is set on the side of the mountain and climbing between levels can be quite taxing. Most importantly, the entire staff but especially the golf cart driver and the restaurant staff, were extremely helpful and courteous.Guest review byDeborahItaly
- Scored out of 10, guest rating 8.2Very Good - What previous guests thought, 284 reviewsThe location is amazing, and the vibe it conveys is an exception compared to the surrounding area. We were welcomed with a graceful and helpful attention at a very late check-in time, exceeding our expectations. The communication is easy, and the warm hospitality of Andrea, Alessandro, Fabio, Tessa, and all the staff is very appreciated. The pool is neat, sunny, and perfectly maintained daily, and the beach is just one of the many within walking distance, or a couple of minutes by car. Well recommended, on my fav list.Guest review byAlexanderSwitzerland

Remarkable and recommended, music at night, amazing food, super nice room.Guest review byJean DanielColombia
- From $177.64 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 9.6Exceptional - What previous guests thought, 318 reviewsProbably one of the finest boutique hotel experiences we’ve had. The location is fantastic, but what made it so great was the hotel itself. The attention to detail of the decor, the friendliness of the staff, the views….i could go on. I think a travel magazine should visit and do an article on the hotel. I could get lost looking at the ceramics, the art and the stunning flowers.Guest review byStewartCanada

Having a balcony overlooking the sea was calming and beautiful even though it was a little windy. All of the staff members were helpful and kind. The breakfast had a huge variety. The close proximity of the hotel to the airport make this an excellent place to stay. The hotel is connected to the airport by a walkway, making it an ideal place to stay. The food is good, and the bar excellent. Nice bathroom, linens and bed. It is pricey, but the close proximity to the airport makes it worth it.Guest review byKristiUnited States - 10.0

I don't think many people think of "going to the beach" in Rome, but it's only about 30 minutes away and costs $1.50 by public transit. The town itself is a little slow when not in high beach season, but there are loads of restaurants and shops to keep you busy if the beach isn't your thing. Public transport is great. And, you can visit incredible recently unearthed Roman Ruins of Ostia Antica very easily.Guest review byMichelle KinchUnited States - 10.0

During my visit to Gaeta, I was truly impressed by several places in this charming coastal town. I especially loved walking along the seaside promenade and the beautiful avenue of plane trees—it was very relaxing and scenic. The old town with its colorful streets and historic buildings was also a highlight. For a quick bite or a casual meal, there are plenty of great options. I particularly enjoyed the local cafés and restaurants where you can try fresh seafood and traditional Italian dishes. There are also small grocery stores nearby if you prefer to grab something on the go. Getting around Gaeta is quite easy. The town is compact, so most places can be reached on foot, and it’s very pleasant to explore the streets at a leisurely pace. For families with young children, I would highly recommend visiting the beaches, which are clean and safe. A walk along the promenade or a visit to the Spanish Fortress on Monte Orlando is also fun and manageable with kids. The town has a relaxed atmosphere, making it perfect for families to enjoy both sightseeing and leisure time together.Guest review byЖаннаUkraine - 8.0

Formia is a great place to visit, it has it all, beaches, restaurants, bars and lots and lots of history. Cisternone Romano Is a must see and only takes about 30 minutes, there are many Roman ruins and artefacts to see. The local wine shops are great and you can get fresh wine by the litre for less than €2! Olives and buffalo mozzarella are the best in the area and on sale everywhere (Itri and Gaeta make the best) the beaches are great and most have a lido bar and facilities costing around €15 to €25 for umbrella and 2 loungers for the day.Guest review byFrancoUnited Kingdom - 10.0

Lovely spot. Very Italian and not too many foreign tourists. Very good restaurants. Fabulous coast, beaches, grotto etc. Wonderful sea swimming and possibility of sea kayaking, paddle boarding and boating.Guest review byAllanUnited Kingdom - 10.0
Lovely place. Everyone very friendly.
Lovely place. Everyone very friendly. Sea great for gentle swimming; beautiful light in walks along lungomare, thanks to east-west orientation. Temple above Terracina a wonderful place to visit and look down from; another temple in Terracina itself, and a small Roman theatre, also full of interest. Many cats, and lots of local kindness to them. Restaurants very accommodating for vegans; ready to adapt and suggest.Guest review byGregoryUnited Kingdom - 10.0
Santa Marinella is close to Rome.
Santa Marinella is close to Rome. Trains are frequent and take less than one hour. It is very popular in the summer months for Italian visitors. You have a good selection of beaches, that mostly charge from €35 to €50 per day (08:45am-19:00) for two sun loungers and one umbrella. The beaches are very clean and well maintained. I speak Italian but some staff speak English. Bars and restaurants surround the beach so you have a good choice. Via Aurelia is closeby with plenty of shops and a very welcoming airconditioned supermarket, Conad. I revisited Santa Marinella having lived there many years ago. Some things have changed but overall, a lovely place to visit with or without family. I would highly recommend. It is recommended to book months in advance as tourists return every year. Places I recommend you stay are Maison Suite in via Aurelia or Hotel Cavalluccio Marino overlooking the beautiful sea. I have not supplied any photos as all photos available on line show Santa Marinella exactly how it is. Vi consigliate di visitare Santa Marinella nel futuro....Guest review byAdrianaIreland - 10.0

We liked the most the place was very calm, no noise. You can easily find local restaurants with reasonable prices or can go to Anzio city to find more sophisticated restaurants. It is better to have a car as the sea is approximately 50 min. by walk.Guest review byLoreta - 10.0

Tarquinia has a great museum, a charming historical center and is close to the beach. The Etruscan tombs shouldn't be missed. It is also off the beaten path a bit so you don't have to deal with the crowds found in other cities.Guest review byAnonymous
