- Scored out of 10, guest rating 8.7Excellent - What previous guests thought, 92 reviewsThe hotel garden was incredible and the whole setting picture perfect! A generous breakfast was provided on a lovely piazzetta under the trees, the menu and wine list at the restaurant were very good, the bars and the pool/sea area were all generously setup. The golf cart provided was most useful given how the hotel is set on the side of the mountain and climbing between levels can be quite taxing. Most importantly, the entire staff but especially the golf cart driver and the restaurant staff, were extremely helpful and courteous.Guest review byDeborahItaly
- From $177.64 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 9.6Exceptional - What previous guests thought, 318 reviewsProbably one of the finest boutique hotel experiences we’ve had. The location is fantastic, but what made it so great was the hotel itself. The attention to detail of the decor, the friendliness of the staff, the views….i could go on. I think a travel magazine should visit and do an article on the hotel. I could get lost looking at the ceramics, the art and the stunning flowers.Guest review byStewartCanada

Having a balcony overlooking the sea was calming and beautiful even though it was a little windy. All of the staff members were helpful and kind. The breakfast had a huge variety. It's fun to walk around Rome. The locals are welcoming.
It's fun to walk around Rome. The locals are welcoming. The coffee is great and available everywhere and at a reasonable price. Restaurants close to the sites are more expensive and it's worth walking a little further to get fair prices. We weren't in peak season and there were still a lot of tourists. The popular tourist sites are very busy and you have to buy tickets in advance.Guest review byGILIsrael - 8.0

The close proximity of the hotel to the airport make this an excellent place to stay. The hotel is connected to the airport by a walkway, making it an ideal place to stay. The food is good, and the bar excellent. Nice bathroom, linens and bed. It is pricey, but the close proximity to the airport makes it worth it.Guest review byKristiUnited States - 10.0

I don't think many people think of "going to the beach" in Rome, but it's only about 30 minutes away and costs $1.50 by public transit. The town itself is a little slow when not in high beach season, but there are loads of restaurants and shops to keep you busy if the beach isn't your thing. Public transport is great. And, you can visit incredible recently unearthed Roman Ruins of Ostia Antica very easily.Guest review byMichelle KinchUnited States - 8.0

Viterbo is a lovely town to visit and it is definitely a trip worth it if you want to escape all the hassle and bustle of Rome. Viterbo has a unique charm and I fell in love with it when I walked the Via Francigena. I stayed in Orchard Bed & Breakafast in Viterbo centre on the Via francigena path as it is available for pilgrims. Viterbo has more than one Spa resort. There are plenty of restaurants and the city is booming with vibrance and cafes. staying 3 nights in Viterbo was definitely worth it. The Park is lovely and the people are friendly. You do not have to worry about theft or other annoying misdemeanors. I would recommend 'Pizza Express'. It is an Indian restaurant, reasonable price and offers a wide range of dishes!!!Guest review byAquilaIreland - 10.0

During my visit to Gaeta, I was truly impressed by several places in this charming coastal town. I especially loved walking along the seaside promenade and the beautiful avenue of plane trees—it was very relaxing and scenic. The old town with its colorful streets and historic buildings was also a highlight. For a quick bite or a casual meal, there are plenty of great options. I particularly enjoyed the local cafés and restaurants where you can try fresh seafood and traditional Italian dishes. There are also small grocery stores nearby if you prefer to grab something on the go. Getting around Gaeta is quite easy. The town is compact, so most places can be reached on foot, and it’s very pleasant to explore the streets at a leisurely pace. For families with young children, I would highly recommend visiting the beaches, which are clean and safe. A walk along the promenade or a visit to the Spanish Fortress on Monte Orlando is also fun and manageable with kids. The town has a relaxed atmosphere, making it perfect for families to enjoy both sightseeing and leisure time together.Guest review byЖаннаUkraine - 10.0

Villa d’Este was amazing and had waterfalls to rival Palace of Versailles. The walk through Villa Gregoriana gardens down the side of the hill to the bottom of the waterfalls was a solid hike and not for the feeble. Definitely take a couple of hours to visit Hadrian’s Villa (aka Villa Adriana) which had amazing historical half crumbling palace and ornamental lake.Guest review bySharee F.Australia - 2.0
This property does not meet the standards of a 4-star hotel.
This property does not meet the standards of a 4-star hotel. The facilities are outdated and require significant renovation. The room was cold and noisy and had an unpleasant odor, making the stay uncomfortable. Although the staff were polite, this did not compensate for the poor quality of the accommodation. Breakfast was acceptable but did not reflect the quality expected from a 4-star establishment. Wi-Fi was only available in the lobby, as the hotel is unable to provide coverage throughout the building — unacceptable for a property presented as “4-star” Overall, the experience was unsatisfactory, and the hotel cannot be recommended, particularly at this price level.Guest review bygaborUnited Kingdom - 10.0

Cassino is a town of much historical significance and is very welcoming to visitors. The abbey is a must see, as are the war cemeteries. I recommend a guide, mine was Dr Danila Bracaglia who is so knowledgeable.Guest review byROSEUnited Kingdom
