Genoa is a big port city with many grand buildings, it's very interesting. We walked along the old port and saw all the mega yachts! We walked to the centre, past the cathedral and down Via Garibaldi - amazing buildings. There are lots of lovely restaurants and shops. It is also a big port and has some dark alleyways! Getting around is easy by metro or taxiGuest review byGraceUnited Kingdom - 10.0

Travelling from Rome, we made La Spezia our base to launch into the Cinque Terre. Fiume269 was just 10-min walk away from the main train station to travel to the 5 towns. Buses from near our stay take you easily to La Spezia's main attractions.Guest review byRobin GomesItaly - 10.0

Beautiful traditional Italian seaside town with plenty of interesting things to visit. La Pigna (the old town) is an interesting climb through small alleyways and gates. The Russian Orthodox church is small but perfectly formed. Villa Nobel is an interesting science museum & a beautiful villa to see from the outside. There is a 30km cycle and walking track running along the seafront, an old converted train track with plenty of cycle hire places along the way. Plenty of nice places nearby if you have a hire car. Steer clear of the Casino - it's tacky and full of slot machines.Guest review byJeremyUnited Kingdom - 10.0
By far the best of all 5 towns.
By far the best of all 5 towns. We stayed in the old part of Monterosso and it felt authentic. Much less crowded than the other towns. And much easier to navigate given that it's not all hills. Just a short stroll to the newer side of Monterosso and w plenty of eating spots to choose from.Guest review byNatalieUnited States - 10.0

Riomaggiore is a vibrant town.
Riomaggiore is a vibrant town. Loved being outside at night with the restaurant sounds and bars playing music. It felt safe to walk around on my own. Enjoyed the harbor view and proximity to boat rental and tours. Beach was nice and small and not too crowded. Ferry is right there, too. Highly recommend staying in Riomaggiore.Guest review bySusan CleereUnited States - 8.0

The city center is nice, there are good restaurants but every of them takes fee for sitting at the table - from 2 to 4 euros even to drink one cocktail. Beaches are not very good in Rapallo, you need to go somewhere further for good sea. We went on the beaches after San-Margarita, it is better drive there or go by bus.Guest review byElena - 10.0

We only stayed one night but walked along the beach and watched the sunset from the marina. We also visited the local shops and ate dinner in the restaurant next door which was excellent. We enjoyed the sunrise from our terrace. The pool was open but it is outside and unheated, so it was too cool to swim.Guest review bySusanUnited States - 10.0
