My husband and I wanted to enjoy more of a local ambiance of Jamaica instead of a resort. Hotel 39 was the perfect place to feel the culture and be around the everyday Jamaica The staff were so friendly,attentive, and very helpful. They have a few amenities available such as a bar downstairs, a roof top pool, and spa. We enjoyed the views from the pool. The hotel is located on the strip of a busy area. So if you want a quiet place,this may not be for you. Though I highly recommend enjoying the vibes of the people. Also you can walk on over to the beach, which was a big plus. The beaches weren’t as crowded and you can enjoy the calmness of it. The restaurant section was modern with the options of traditional American or Jamaican dishes. We enjoyed the options! I would like to give a shoutout to Narda, when she noticed we weren’t served yet, she made sure to take care of us.thank you Narda! Overall if your goal is to actually enjoy a different culture, food environment,and meet the locals Hotel 39 is for you!😃

I loved the staff at this hotel, Both receptionists were lovely. Actually all the staff were just amazing. The room we stayed at 301 had the best view at sunset.

Attentiveness of the chef...host...caretaker of castaways villa....he ensures and makes your stay relaxing and comfortable....Mr. Jack...the heartbeat of castaways...knows the way to your heart thru your belly.....man can chef it up....the ambiance of castaways was very relaxing...nice country type setting....close to the beach and local amenities...I fulljoyed my stay...Mr. Jack made sure of that...would definitely stay again...

Theg property is very well thought through , given a very local touch and is very well maintained. Andrea, who is the owner has done a fabulous job with both interior and exteriors. the property is very clean, spacious and welcoming. we enjoyed the stay as the B&B host were very welcoming and made us feel at home. If one is looking for a real feel of Jamica , one needs to look at staying at places such as Blue Paloma. the breakfast is local Jamaican breakfast that is freshly made by the cool very morning with nice fresh juices. The team is very well organized , friendly , accommodative and warm. Our dietary restrictions were noted and food was customized to it. The swimming pool hours were extended for us. we were offered fresh coconut water and also the seasonal drinks. The host had family visiting for the holidays and the family members were very welcoming and we felt like we were part of the family during our stay. Overall, this is a fabulous place and I look forward to staying here again on my next visit. thanks to Andrea, Mark and the whole team for making our stay so enjoyable.
