The building and rooms were so pretty and modern. We loved the shower and beds, they were so comfortable! The area is also quiet and peaceful. The staff were very friendly and accommodating, there are a lot of languages available so communicating is not a problem. We also tried the Thai dinner that was offered and it was really tasty. If you are looking for a modern experience in Kyoto then this is perfect. We would stay here again, thank you so much!

The location is very good, the buffet-style breakfast offers a variety of food, and the customer service is excellent. The staff speaks multiple languages. We asked for a little something for our daughter, who was celebrating her birthday during our stay, and the hotel prepared a nice note with sweets and a souvenir.     Fantastic location, inside the Kyoto Station, which helped a lot to move around everywhere. Even though, train station noise is not heard from the room, so sleeping and relaxing were fine. Staff is also incredible and helped us to forward our luggage and gave us tips about what to see around. Our stay at Granvia Kyoto was unforgettable, and we are already making plans to come back. Thanks everyone to make our vacation so special.

    Location is right in the middle of most of Kyoto's main attractions. The room is quite spacious with large enough table to eat or use as office space. They provide toiletries, pyjamas, and 'customizable' house keeeping. Free newspapers. Free regular shuttle bus to central subway station + lots of food and convenience stores. Reliable access to taxis (never had to wait for one while there).

    We loved the aesthetic of the hotel. It had a vintage, rustic, steam punk, and artsy kind of vibe. We had a gorgeous view of the Yasakanoto pagoda right outside our balcony on the 3rd floor. The view from the rooftop was beautiful. All the little details gave the hotel a lot of character. And yes, the room was spacious and the beds were super comfy.

    Very good location, just across the road from Kyoto station. Room was a great size and very comfortable. Staff were fantastic. I had to see a doctor while staying at the hotel and the staff were very helpful, contacting a nearby medical facility to book an appointment and explaining my symptoms. I would definitely stay here again if visiting Kyoto.

    Everything was amazing in the She, Kyoto. The Staff is really friendly, the room is small but really comfy and cozy. The amenities is the bathroom are the best part of a relaxing bath.     Miyazu which includes Amanohashidate, is one of three natural sites in Japan. The land bridge spans across the sea is fun to view from the observation points (on both sides) and you can actually bike (20 minutes) or walk (50 minutes) one way across. A small town with lots of charm and beauty.

    Kameoka is the starting point of the famous and historical Hozu River rafting ride that takes you to Arashiyama, home of the famous bamboo forest. Enjoy the rafting, enjoy Arashiyama and take the train back to Kameoka. Hotel is a 5 minute walk from the station. A perfect day.

    I especially recommend it to travelers from overseas. If you are sightseeing in Kyoto, Nara, or Osaka for a few days, staying at this facility and using Kameoka as your base will be the best way to travel to Kansai. Like taking a day trip from your home. If your schedule is 2 nights and 3 days or 3 nights and 4 days, it is definitely a good deal even if you add transportation expenses. You can't stay in a house in Kyoto or Nara.

    I loved this hotel!!! The service was outstanding. The rooms were beautiful and clean. The location was perfect - close to town but not in town. We walked everywhere and felt very safe. Close to the train station as well. I will certainly stay here on my next trip to Kyoto.

    Kyoto is a very beautiful City to visit. We enjoyed very much exploring Kyoto. Beautiful city with a lot of history. It is was very interesting to see places like ; Fushimi Inari , Kinkaku-ji Temple, Ginkakuji Shrine, go on Philosopher's Walk , Nanzen-ji, Arashiyama Monkey Park Iwatayama , Arashiyama Bamboo Park plus many more places.
