- When we checked in, they explained in great detail what to visit on the island (including highest/lowest tide times for the O-torii gate) and the recommended paths for the top of Mt Misen - We opted for the half board solutions and both dinner and breakfast were among the best we had during our entire stay in Japan - Room was a traditional Japanese setting. Cozy and with a nice view on the outside park (with deers wandering around) 10/10 would recommend

Beautiful, clean room, comfortable and spacious, with so many amenities. The staff was terrific! So helpful and kind. We loved all of our meals - they were delicious, plentiful, and creative.

I booked my room @ 3rd floor with Sea view is simply an awesome decision. The room was spacious and superbly clean.. tatami was really comfortable as well. Staffs at front desk are so welcoming, warm & helpful. The location itself is just amazing. About 8 minutes walk to the ferry pier and also 7 mins walk to the famous Itsukushima Shrine with the floating gate (Torii). I strongly recommend this hotel to everyone.

The check in was easy, the house was modern and very clean. I love how they were pet friendly and had extra pet supplies. The house was a little bit of a walk away from the ferry but still in a good central location close to food options. It was close to the aquarium.

The architectural design and interior decoration are cozy yet elegant. We love the room with the sea view and the massage chair. After spending time in tiny hotel rooms in cities, we just went crazy for the vast space inside which kinda felt like home: a big tv screen, cozy mattresses and duvets, and easily adjustable a/c. Walking around the hotel was comfortable with their lounge wear and Japanese slippers, and the onsen is easy to access and very relaxing. The staff are very friendly and eager to help out. Everywhere we walked past, they greeted and were attentive even though some of them may not speak a fluent English. Breakfast is abundant and very well-managed.
