Room was clean, bright and renovated. Ocean views. Lovely private deck and lawn overlooking ocean. Amazing bbq (had it twice!). Good wifi. Miki the manager is an absolute star - her hospitality is amazing.

Itadaki Daisen is a well appointed hotel that delivers exceptional customer service, against the backdrop of its spectacular location. Danny and his team provide a thoughtful service. The breakfast and dinner options were delicious and sourced from the local smorgasbord that the fertile region provides. I will come back again to this beautiful hotel and Daisen region.

Great stay! So comfortable and clean. Room was so spacious compared to other business type hotels I have stayed in Japan. Staff were so kind and helpful. Hotel is in a peaceful and quiet location. Only about 10-15 minutes walk from the station so convenient to access the town or trains/ buses for traveling around. I really enjoyed my stay, was relaxing and excellent value for money. Lovely view from the window!

    I wasn’t sure what to expect when I booked. However the stay here at Kaichoen was very fabulous. Onsen lovely. Room huge by Japanese standards and even by Australian standards. Greeting by staff in pouring rain amazing. I loved that staff were willing to communicate with us even though we don’t speak Japanese. We managed to organise breakfast. Breakfast was the best we have had in Japan. Thank you for a very unexpected and memorable experience. Highly recommend.

    I liked everything! It was such a nice hotel, the room was really spacious, if only we had more time, I would've loved to stay longer! The place had a beautiful garden and an outside onsen. Facilities were great! They literally had everything you'll need to relax. The staff were really friendly and helpful too.

    We are in Love with Daisen. It is such a beautiful rare place in the world. I am so surprised it’s not filled with tourist. I feel like we found a place that we would even want to live the people the food the views are all marvelous!

    Tottori city is small but packed with experiences.

    Tottori city is small but packed with experiences. I recommend: Warabekan - Toy Museum; Jinpukaku Mansion (closed until 2029 but still a beautiful place to visit); Tottori Castle Ruins (the park has great city views) and UNESCO Global Geopark - Tottori Sand Dunes. The crab dishes are delicious!

    Exceptional place with mountain and sea being side by side.

    Exceptional place with mountain and sea being side by side. I got to see better Fall colors than Kansai region. Sand Dunes (small area) in this weather and geography is also unexpected, frankly the dune was taller than what I saw in Dubai. Flight taking off closer to sea shore and when you look at other side window, it is mountains. The place is a geological wonder in my view.
