The location is great (they can even pick you up /drop you off at the Voi train station).
They organized a safari for us! We saw so many animals! It was such a memorable day!
The lodge is clean and you have everything you need.
Oh, and the food was always fresh and delicious during our stay! Highly recommended!

United KingdomOne of the best hotels we’ve ever stayed at! The view is absolutely breathtaking and honestly you can’t put a price on seeing wild animals all day, everyday. The lodge oversees a watering hole from the dining area and some of the bedrooms. The watering hole is in close proximity and we saw over 25 wild animals. On top of that the staff are kind, welcoming, and made us feel at home. We would especially like to thank Darcos at reception, Stephen (park range, game drive), and Daniel (restaurant) - they made us feel like family. Our highlights were seeing a cheetah with its kill and a young leopard. We wouldn’t have seen the cheetah but when it was spotted Stephen found us and personally drove us there. We didn’t see a lion this time but it’s just a reason to come back!
Thank you we will surely be back.

The staff, from the reception to the security guards, are both professional and incredibly hospitable. In particular, the hotel manager, Festes Mbeva, is the most humble and welcoming person I have ever met. Cooling off in the pool after a safari trip and relaxing in the shade while the cool breeze offers relief on a hot afternoon is an experience I will never forget. The rooms are of excellent quality, and both breakfast and dinner were delightful. Driving to the lodge didn’t encounter many animals due to bush and lava rock. But at Serena we saw hundreds of animals including many small babies come to the large waterhole right in front of us. But previous trips to Voi was great because one can visit Tsavo east and Tsavo west as well as some of the private wildlife sanctuaries from Voi. Unfortunately the lack of rains for the past three seasons...
Unfortunately the lack of rains for the past three seasons have impacted the wildlife, and there were many dead animals. But the upside to this is that those larger animals still in the tourist area of the part were concentrated around water holes. Making them easier to view. Access to the NP is very expensive (USD 100 per person) for a non-Kenyan resident. While this is a tax which helps keep Rangers and other staff in work, it seems elitist and unaffordable for the majority. Some of that money would be well spent on improving the tracks within the park. They are extremely uncomfortable to travel along and, even in a 4x4, quite dangerous. With our vehicle regularly sliding out to the sides. The best advice on seeing wildlife is to be a little adventurous and take some of the less regularly used tracks. We were able to see elephant, Greater and Lesser Kudu, all the big cats except leopard, snake eagles and many other bird species.Guest review bySimonUnited Kingdom - 8.0

Tsavo ouest much better than east ,more animals, more different landscapes, good temperatures whereas east is bare and hot Bad surprise at taita hills you have to pay a park fee just to be at the hotel whose price is higher than indicated by booking. Voi Wildlife Lodge has some extremely peaceful spots during the day when the majority of people are out of the hotel. Within hours of arriving I usually can feel my muscles unwind. The views are breathtaking, and the ability to be so close to the animals is fun. The staff is incredible and would probably pass for a four star hotel. There are only two major downfalls. One, is that there is not WiFi available in the rooms. Two, is that it is starting to show its age. If the owners invest some money to update things it will be right back up where it was the first time I visited five years ago.Guest review byBrook
