- From $220 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 9.2Wonderful - What previous guests thought, 312 reviewsIf you want a full Saint Lucia experience, this is the place! We spent 2 nights here and it was just awesome. The property has taxi drivers they are friends with and they will take you everywhere and spend the day with you! Within 10 minutes from all major tourist attractions you can see/do several in one day. The view is spectacular, but the true value of this property is that allows you to be part of the St Lucian culture! Don’t expect anything fancy, view this place as a place to sleep and see the sunset. Other than that, you should be enjoying Soufriere and the rest of the island!Guest review byNICOLASSpain
- From $665.73 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 8.2Very Good - What previous guests thought, 37 reviewsExcellent staff and facilities, they were all very helpful. I was pleasantly surprised by how clean everything was, also it was nice and quiet, truly relaxing. Also, sometimes air conditioning can be a gamble when you travel to anywhere tropical. The air conditioning worked perfectly keeping us comfortable when needed. My breakfast - scrambled eggs with bell peppers - was cooked perfectly. Also, I do recommend the sunset catamaran cruise - it was a wonderful end to the day and the fresh caught bbq'd fish on the boat (side salad and mashed potatoes) was delicious!Guest review byJanelleUnited States
- From $313.50 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 7.3Good - What previous guests thought, 191 reviewsThe view is spectacular and the infinite pool is amazing! The room is very comfy and lovely. There is a restaurant at the La Haut resort that offers luch and dinner, besides the breakfast; this is very good, because after a long adventure day you don't want to make too much effort looking for restaurants, so having one at the resort makes easier. The staff is very caring.Guest review byThapedreteBrazil

Right by the beach with excellent restaurants and bars all within walking distance. Some shops for holiday shopping and a good supermarket if you are self catering. Everything you want for a holiday in the sun.Guest review byPaulaUnited Kingdom - 10.0
If you want to get around to other islands and Gros Islet...
If you want to get around to other islands and Gros Islet Street Party, make sure you negotiate the price for a round trip. Make SURE you emphasize round trip. Some taxi men are so money hungry and will give you a price of round trip, but then try and tell you they meant one way. DON'T let them do that. Get clear clarification for your round trip.Guest review byMercedesUnited States - 10.0
The whole area looks like paradise.
The whole area looks like paradise. The people are nice and friendly, lots of restaurants and things to do. Roads are a little narrow and there are potholes and access to some of the beaches is through bad roads therefore definetly recommend an SUV to just not care about this aspect.Guest review byIonut-RazvanRomania - 8.0
I enjoyed my stay at Marigot Beach Resort.
I enjoyed my stay at Marigot Beach Resort. I loved the ambience, my room, the cleanliness of the hotel and the customer service. The menu was varied enough, though the meals could have been a bit tastier. I plan on revisiting there in two weeks' time - on business. I recommend Marigot Beach Resort for its beauty, serenity and comfort.Guest review bySusanTrinidad and Tobago - 6.0

The beach is very nice; the southern end is quieter with shallower waters. The mall has a lot of different eating options and a large supermarket. Most of the tourists speak English and English is the language of the island. You can take day cruises from Rodney Bay MarinaGuest review byMichaelUnited Kingdom - 10.0
We really liked Anse La Raye.
We really liked Anse La Raye. It's a typical fishing village where you can see how locals live. I do recommend restaurant called Valelse Sports Bar & Soup Kitchen. We dined there on 4 occasions, food and service we really good:)Guest review byMaciejPoland - 10.0

We visited the waterfall, Deborah swam and I enjoyed being in the tropical rainforest. Deborah also went for the fish foot massage. We both went to the nearby fishing village and enjoyed a Piton or two talking to the fishermen. .Guest review byMarkUnited Kingdom - 10.0
Excellent location if you want to be able to visit...
Excellent location if you want to be able to visit restaurants and shopping and the beach is excellent - it is far from the international airport (but close to the regional airport) and most tourist sites, but if you want more than just to stay at your hotel - go for Gros Islet! Easy enough to organise trips to the mud baths, etcGuest review byNancyUnited Kingdom - 4.0
Castries is a harsh city. Not violet.
Castries is a harsh city. Not violet. But difficult to spend time in. It's not setup for tourists who are not in a resort or on a cruise. There are very few sit-down atmospheric restaurants and bars. It's a city for the locals and its a poor community. Everyone I met was very nice and friendly. They are wonderful people. But it's not what you might call 'charming'. The roads and traffic are a nightmare and a day here is enough. Rodney Bay is a much more vacation friendly place. I mostly enjoyed my stay here, but be prepared for confronting the results of colonial abuse and corruption. Frankly the locals are demonstrating a high degree of humility, love and forgiveness despite what our western ancestors have done to them, and are still doing. I learned something very important about western entitlement by staying here.Guest review byWarneCanada - 10.0
Soufrierre was a highlight during our week of independent...
Soufrierre was a highlight during our week of independent travel in st. Lucia. So many nearby attractions , yet its a quaint small town. We actually walked to the diamond mine botanical gardens and thermal baths. A variety of restaurants (Fedo’s has a wonderful veg plate) are walkable but there is also a supermarket and local market for self catering. The easily assessable lovely public beach is clean and has clear water perfect for a refreshing dip. Sitting there in the evening with the petite piton as the view is a memorable image.Guest review byKathleenCanada
