We had a wonderful stay at this hotel! The atmosphere was incredibly relaxing, and everything was spotless. The staff was friendly and attentive, making sure every need was met. A special mention to Kristian and his wife, who were so welcoming and made the experience even better. The food was absolutely delicious—fresh, flavorful, and well-prepared. One of the best hotel experiences I've ever had!! Stayed here for two nights and it was the highlight of my trip to Sri Lanka. The hotel itself is absolutely amazing. Beautifully decorated with lovely views and peaceful surroundings with many birds to see. They had recently had some wildfires nearby so apparently in normal times you can see even more wildlife than what I saw during my stay. There is also a stunning waterfall nearby (almost in the hotel grounds) that the staff take you to and that you can have completely to yourself or perhaps with a couple of locals. I also did a hike with the staff up to the mountain behind the hotel which was great. Then afternoons spent lazing in the pool, chatting to the staff and with complimentary High Tea as I watched the mist float through the mountains. There were no mosquitos in that area too which meant that they could have the large windows open (even at night!) with one whole side of the hotel open to the fresh air and views. There are only two rooms in the hotel, though they have plans to build another couple of buildings in the future (though also with a very secluded feel). I was the only one there during my stay which meant I had the whole place to myself 😍 The best thing about Capoe though is the staff. Isham, Eranda, the wonderful chef and the gardener who guided the hikes. They were all so friendly and attentive and really made my stay, especially as I was a solo traveller and they were very friendly and chatty (though also give you your space when you need it). I've never had a private butler before, let alone one that is trained in both wildlife spotting and making cocktails! Thanks so much Isham, you made my stay really special 🙏🏼 Can't wait to come back on my next visit to Sri Lanka! ❤️

This was my second time at Vantage Hills and reason is the absolutely superb view and hospitality. I honestly was looking for an alternative, just to be able to explore a new place, but could not find one with such an unique location. We've stayed in the new cabana, so even closer to the tea terraces. You can just sit on your balcony, sip cup of tea and and watch the beautiful scenery. Sooner or later, you can be sure to spot pickers plucking the tea by hand. If you fancy a walk, you just need to step out of your room and you can roam thru endless tea terraces at your will. The best part of the stay is having breakfast on the large terrace where you can immerse yourself in endless mountain views. You can also visit nearby Kelliebedde Tea Factory for a nice informative tea production tour, and refresh yourself in their lovely Tea Lounge. All in all, I like this place and location for keeping its authenticity. If you miss touristic hustle and bustle, Ella is a short drive from here.

This is a comfortable and clean hotel , very close to the center of Ella. Localization: The hotel is very near the main supermarkets, restaurants and shops, but away from the busy area of Ella. It is in a quiet area of Ella. The rooms are very large, with the necessary furniture. Good Air- conditioning Bathroom - Very good and clean. Shower with hot water and pressure Breakfast: it was the best breakfast we had in Sri Lanka. It was huge, very good and diverse. Wifi: Very good. The owner and staff are fantastic people. They were very efficient and friendly. Thanks a lot! It is a great place to stay in Ella.

    The hotel is incredibly beautiful, very well equipped, the rooms are spacious and very clean. It is located in the heart of the town, making it within easy walking distance of the various restaurants and shops. The hotel is a 5 minute walk from Ella station. It was my husband's birthday, and Ujith made us an in-room cake with candles! My husband even got a wrapped present before he left. A real sweetheart! The staff at this hotel go out of their way to make your stay enjoyable and unforgettable. Thank you so much Ujith!

    It's a resort in the jungle, it takes few minutes with the jeep in order to arrive there. It's just perfect, perfect receiving, perfect and silent room right on the river, a lot of nature and animals to see, an adventurous trail in the jungle to the waterfalls, friendly a professional personnel and manager, food amazing. No other words to describe it, just thank you.

With easy access to Nine Arches Bridge, Little Adam’s Peak, Ella Rock, and tea plantations, it’s an ideal base for a week of sightseeing and adventure.

    Badulla is an up and coming tourist destination. It has much to offer but for now is excellent for those wishing to spend time in the hills and and away from the razzmatazz of Ella or the tried and tested Nuwara Eliya.

    Almost everything.

    Almost everything. Location was close to Horton Plains and the owners arranged a tuk tuk ride for a nominal fee. Lovely surrounding. Food was tasty and ample given. Really worth it. Owners were friendly and made the guests feel at home.

    People are really friendly and welcome tourists. City is very small, but attractive. The 9 arches bridge is a place everyone would like to visit. Food available in the restaurants are really testy in a reasonable price. The train ride to ella was a memorable one.

    Haputale is a breathtaking hill town surrounded by lush tea estates and misty mountains. We stayed at Benito Bungalow by The Serendipity Collection, where the in-house chef prepared fresh and delicious meals every day. The cool climate, scenic views, and peaceful setting made it the perfect place to unwind. It’s quieter and less touristy than other hill stations, which adds to its charm. A true hidden gem in Sri Lanka!

    Even though My stay in Badulla was too short to visit all the beautiful places, the trip to Dunhida waterfall was a great experience, especially for kids. The path to Dunhida might be difficult for someone. I believe it was a very nice experience to walk through the jungle. Once you see the waterfall, you will forget all the tiredness.

    It is very safe and tourist-friendly, nice climate. not hot, not tool, cold. Nice view of the mountains. Lot of foreigners. Food and services are mostly for foreigners which is not too hot, a good mix of local and international food, but very reasonably priced.

    Most of the activities are outside of main Haputale the hiking is wonderful as was our visit to Lipton's seat and the tour of the tea factory. Main Haputale not really much going on but the hotel was perfect after a long day of hiking.
