Lovely and clean hotel and really nice and friendly staff. They were very hospitable. Me and my son enjoyed using the pool, which they allowed at any time. Breakfast was very good, nice range of hot and cold food. Great location too, we walked about 5 minutes to a bus stop where you can catch a bus for 4 dirhams into jma el fna.

The vegetation - flowering trees and bushes, the sound of running water everywhere is mesmerizing. The Riyad could not be more exquisite provided one does not have a problem managing a lot of stairs.     The people and the place. The best place overall we stayed in Morocco. Aurélien & his mother were so great! We arrived and the chef was sick so we were treated to an absolutely lovely dinner cooked by Aurélien’s mum. The other people staying were also awesome which added to the whole experience. We felt hugely welcome and loved the place overall. Really absolutely nothing bad to say.

    Morocco is an amazing cultural experience. It's definitely an adventure on a daily basis with a wide selection of artisanal works from leather, wood and carpets. The old Berber villages are amazing to visit, they offer a great calm in contrast to the fast pace of Marrakesh or the late-night souks of FES. For artists or art lovers, there are vibrant colours, patterns, and intricate architecture all over the country. Also, picturesque landscapes, Oases, and desert sands.

    The hospitality and the gorgeous setting were my two favorite aspects of the Riad Jnane Imlil and the village of Imlil. The surroundings are majestic and the staff of the riad were so very warm. The food was delicious and convenient (breakfast was included, and you can purchase dinner and eat in the building). I was not feeling well from before I arrived in Imlil, and still it was a beautiful place to rest in. We had planned to do a full-day trek and have lunch with a Berber family in their home, but had to cancel due to my illness. Still, we walked around a bit in the village and that was so very pleasant. The riad had a pool and has beautiful terraces and balconies to enjoy the gorgeous views from. I highly recommend this riad to anyone.

    Very nice city and friendly people.

    Very nice city and friendly people. Personally I prefer the quiet places. Unlikely Marrakesh, Safi is very quiet and nice city to discover and learn about in a week, you will be able to make friends easily and recognise the locals quicker. Also the beach and the areas around it is very close and the prices are very affordable.

    Ourika is breath taking. The restaurants with the river flowing is amazing. The kids loved splashing in the river. The waterfall is well worth exploring. The local residents are very welcoming and friendly. I definitely want to visit Ourika again!
