But in general I highly recommend staying here.

BelgiumArrived at about 4pm and did the camel trek to the camp at sunset. I would highly recommend this camp since it is located further into the dessert and closer to the big dunes than many other camps. Food was good and everyone was really friendly!

IrelandIt was a great place. Comfortable and immaculate, the tents were. In a desert setting, it appears they have succeeded in achieving the highest degree of comfort. There's good preservation of the surrounding region. Among the best we've had in Morocco, the cuisine was delicious. Despite giving you your personal space, the staff was incredibly attentive. I really enjoyed the camel ride. It was an evening of wonderful Berber music. To anyone looking for a special and memorable adventure, I would heartily suggest this camp.

We asked to order Medfuna tradicional Sahara's pizza. Swimmimg pool vas very clean and nice. We higly recomend to stay here, we had 3 nights. Hotel is beautiful 🌴 Bed was super big and comfy!

They serve breakfast and dinner which was delicious, and they play music for entertainment around the fire. Mohamed and hassan were wonderful--so pleasant, fun, and went out of their way to fulfill all our requests. Definitely recommend staying here and cannot wait to return!

- incredible food and waiter service. Ability to request/ personalise your meals and the menu always changes. Flavours and quality of the produce was exceptional . Food lovers truely will remember your meals and will be a highlight of your stay.

- The price per night was cheap when considering the level of facilities and services from the staff
- The hotel design was very luxurious with Moroccan incense burning + water feature in the entrance hallway adds an additional luxurious touch
- A true 5 star experience in a remote part of the world
- Surrounded by the stunning dunes with a direct view to the large dune when your in the pool. Made us feel like we were in the sand dunes on our own while still being in comfort - unlike staying in a camp
- Again the staff were incredible and allowed us to have a very memorable comfortable stay during the summer month of July

To say this was an amazing place for a stay is to say nothing. I loved everything! My initial trip to Morocco started with Marrakech and 3 days later it was a journey to Merzouga. Besides an overwhelming Marrakech, with it's great and not so great experiences, I took a trip to Merzouga through various cities. Not being too prepared about the culture or the climate, by the end of the day I was absolutely exhausted and barely on my feet, but I knew that my next and final stop would be Hassilabiad Appart Hotel, so I hoped for best. During my entire trip to Merzouga, the owner of Hassilabiad kept in touch with me, navigating, making sure I will reach the destination safely and simple being a great human being! He always responded and tried to help. I arrived to Merzouga deeply late into night, absolutely exhausted, but once I reached Hassilabiad, I was greeted with a warm welcome and smiles. Everyone waited for me and made sure I will have the best rest possible. First 1-2 days I spent in my gorgeous, clean, silent room, recovering from my long trip. Not only entire staff was friendly, they were also incredibly grounded and sincere. It's one thing to have a nice conversation with your guest about some topics, but it's another one when you literary feel like you are speaking to and being in company of your family or best friends! My favorite person, that would help with ABSOLUTELY everything was Hassan. From the simple wish of a glass of water, to organizing a trip, Hassan was always there and made me laugh and feel great. He organized every single activity I had in Merzouga, be it a jeep tour around Erg Chebbi desert, or a camel ride, every single activity was a blast. Food was delicious, the views from the hotel were outstanding and the best part about the location of this hotel: It's 1 step away from dunes and desert, the heart and best part of Merzouga for me. I will absolutely come back again. Loved it!

The location was just perfect. Nestled among the sand dunes of Erg Chebbi, of all the desert camps we saw when doing activities. Merzouga Luxury Desert Camps had the very best location. The staff went out of their way to help us enjoy our stay in the Sahara Desert. Nothing was too much trouble for them and they answered our every question. They were extremely polite, welcoming and kind and made our stay memorable. All the activities we wanted to do such as camel trekking and Quad biking were right there at our finger tips and organised by the staff whenever we requested something. The camp was so peaceful and the ambience in the desert was surreal. I would recommend a two night stay so you don’t have to rush away and can enjoy the peace and quiet of the desert in a leisurely way.

We had a nice stay overall. The hotel was clean and comfortable, with all the basic amenities we needed. It’s conveniently located near minimarkets, which was great for quick purchases. A particularly nice touch was the presence of a sandbox/play area for kids—it made it easier to relax while the little ones had fun.
The property has good features like a dual shower and dryer, although the bathroom space was a bit tight. There were also a few ants near the entrance, which could be improved.
Still, the positives outweighed the small issues, and we appreciated the thoughtful family-friendly setup. Would recommend for families looking for a practical and comfortable stay.

Everythis was perfect! Amazing location, luxury tent with aircondition, perfect if you're visiting in winter, as we did. Food was amazing and the portion was really big!
But most importantly, the guys who work there were exceptionally welcoming and helpful. They made us feel at home and we will definitely come back for longer! After dinner we enjoyed their music with bonfire. Eventhough we loved everything in Morocco, this stay was the highlight of our trip!

We didn’t expect such comfort in the middle of the desert with Les Roches Desert camp! The tents were luxurious, with soft beds and private bathrooms. The dinner was delicious, and the staff were amazing. The fire, music, and stargazing made it feel like a dream.

Interesting medina, market and main square. Short (free) visit to mausoleum is main event, otherwise not a lot to do. Probably 1 day/night is sufficient. Use as a base for half day visit to Volubolis. Limited decent restaurants , most are in Riads. A restaurant with a terrace with nice views exists on inside of gateway near main gate

Midelt was an interesting town/city.
Midelt was an interesting town/city. There is lots to explore there. We enjoyed wandering around the souk. Sitting at the foot of the mountains it is quite beautiful in the changing light.
Midelt feels that it is well looked after and maintained compared to other cities and towns we have visited in Morocco.

Hotel staff was very obedient, punctual. Hotel surrounding, forest tour by walk.. Deep inside, a visit to a small lake for a short picnic, smaller town comparatively and a short centre ville visit are special moments in 4 days visit. A retirement town. I breathed most clean air in the whole of my life. Very clean town.. I always used to rate some rural area of Sub Saharan Africa as the best for good air quality but now my new option is IFRANE of this beautiful country "MOROCCO".

It was the perfect place for us to meet and get some rest the night before heading to Merzouga! Hassan is a lovely person and was super helpful in getting to and from his home. His home is extremely clean and spacious. Hassan was a great host! I would highly recommend his home.

Not much happening in this town.
Not much happening in this town. Hard to find good restaurants. Most places seem to serve fast food. Probably the biggest draw is the proximity to Ifrane National Park and the famous Barbary macaques. They are easily spotted on the road N13 leading into town mainly because people like to feed them there so there are plenty to see.

This was the highlight of our Morocco trip. The staff were friendly, the food was wonderful, and the camp was clean and well-organized. The camel ride, the sunset, and the music made it an unforgettable night. The peace of the desert was something special.

Very authentic city but lacking nice restaurants that felt clean. In the newer area there was a great place called Le Stream.
Favorite places were the music museum and mausoleum.
Petit Taxis were reasonably priced and made getting around the city inexpensive and easy.

This place has the feel of a rough and ready desert town.
This place has the feel of a rough and ready desert town. It has a variety of people who live here, and was dry as a bone when we stayed. We were hoping to hike the surrounding countryside but couldn’t get it together so walked around the various neighbourhoods. This turned out to be a great experience. We found a very interesting Berber village, a completely unexpected Catholic monastery, and a very bizarre but beautiful guesthouse.
We were surprised by this town and think that you might be too.

Ifrane is a small town so choices for food outside of the few hotels are limited. We like to take drives in the countryside each day and then return to town. There are a few very nice parks to walk through. Especially Ain Vittel on the outskirts of town.
