Our stay at the Private Suite with Sea View and Jacuzzi at Palazzo De La Sengle Boutique Hotel was absolutely incredible. From the moment we arrived, we were impressed by the warm welcome and attention to detail. The suite itself was a dream elegantly decorated, spacious, and with breathtaking panoramic views over the Grand Harbour and Valletta. The private jacuzzi on the balcony was the highlight of our trip. Watching the sun set over the city skyline while relaxing in the warm water was simply magical, an experience we’ll never forget. The hotel staff were outstandingly friendly, attentive, and always happy to help with recommendations or arrangements. Breakfast was fresh and delicious, served with care each morning in a lovely setting.

The apartment is in a beautiful, historic neighborhood with classic Maltese architecture. It had everything we needed for our three-night stay and was super clean. The staff were very helpful and responsive. They let us check in early and gave us options for dropping off our bags after checkout. The pdf guide they shared was super useful and covered everything we needed to know. We really enjoyed our stay and would definitely recommend this place to others.

Nice area at the heart of the 3 cities.

Nice area at the heart of the 3 cities. While the surroundings are similar to Valetta, there is less tourists and more tranquility. Valetta is 2,5Euros and less than 10 minutes away with the ferry that runs every 30'. Plenty of water front eateries, cafes and bars. Not to miss.

Birgu is, and always has been, a most important and interesting area of Malta. All the Three Citta are steeped in historic and modern attractions. The whole area is a good mix of old and new with more to come. It is central and a short ferry ride across Grand Harbour to Valletta. A truly great place to stay. Check out all the attractions and interesting places to visit. There are quite a number of good waterside restaurants and bars, both in Birgu and across the footbridge in Senglea. Please be aware what comes with history is historic structure. There are some short but steep footways. All are accessible, but with a little extra care.

BEAUTIFUL little city.

BEAUTIFUL little city. We went to the light festival, the local vendors were great to meet and to buy items and food from. We love an immersive experience when traveling. we do not seek the tourist experience we are making friends around the world and looking to purchase property and relocate. Our experiences are for life not for entertainment , the locals were all wonderfully helpful and knowledgeable. the artists and food purveyors restaurant owners and taxis were all very courteous and made us love the area. the respect paid to preserved spaces is admirable and we will be back but just choose a different place to stay. getting to the other side of the water has many options . we choose to walk whenever possible its a scenic walk anywhere you go in Senglea.

Loved the little streets and the marina.

Loved the little streets and the marina. It was nice to walk around and look at all the super yachts moored there. The lovely square in the centre has cafes and restaurants as well as small shops and a bus stop. There is also the Malta at War Museum, the Inquisitors palace and the Fort which overlooks Valletta harbour. All worth a visit .

Cospicua is a purely residential area.

Cospicua is a purely residential area. No tourist crowds, no loud bars or noisy restaurants. But within 10 minutes by foot you will reach the harbour front and the areas with restaurants and bars. Friendly people. Little alleys, many stairs (as everywhere on Malta). Perfect place to relax after a day of walking and doing sight-seeing.

We explored the maze of local streets, where traffic levels are very low, and every house has a colourful wooden balcony. We located a couple of places where you can swim from the rocky shoreline, and enjoyed several local ice-cream outlets. Fort St Angelo was worth a visit of several hours, with awesome views of the Grand Harbour, and we also visited the Inquisitor's Palace, learning the sinister side of Malta's religious history.

Great base for exploring the three cities and Valletta,...

Great base for exploring the three cities and Valletta, Senglea was more relaxing than a stay in Valletta but had great transport links to and from Valletta, with Senglea being one of the three cities the other two were adjoined and therefore accessible either on foot or by taxi. There was a good variety of restaurants and all very reasonably priced, we never had a bad meal during our stay. Places we ate at and would recommend were Aroy-d-Fusion, Il-Pirata, Il-Hnejja and Novita,

We loved Vittoriosa - or Bergu, to give it its local name.

We loved Vittoriosa - or Bergu, to give it its local name. It's full of history, the local people are incredibly friendly, and it's a great place from which to explore the rest of the island. We didn't have a car - Vittoriosa has a lot of very narrow cobbled streets, not car-friendly - a plus as far as we were concerned! If you're interested in Malta's history, stay here.

Cospicua is a place for quiet people.

Cospicua is a place for quiet people. It is a good base for travelling. Ferry to Valletta is good there and back. Bormla has buses to everywhere. A round island tour is great for sightseeing and you see more. The fruits confections and bakeries are very very succulent. I liked the soil in Malta`s fields with people in them and crops, a great change from Spanish islands bare lava environment.
