We had a wonderful stay! The beach and hotel grounds were beautiful, and the service was excellent. The Plantation Restaurant was amazing and absolutely delicious. We loved the free water sports and the kids club had lots of daily activities. Everything was perfect—we’ll definitely be back!

As soon as I arrived I fell in love! Everything about this hotel is absolutely gorgeous. The room is so beautiful and spotless. Love the bathroom and comfy bed. Everything was beautifully decorated. The outdoor setting was gorgeous! As for the staff, they all made me feel so welcome. Akilesh was so amazing! So kind, helpful, passionate, and professional. They were all so kind, professional, and always helpful. From management, bartender and staff. I've stayed 3 weeks in Mauritius. I explored a few places, but this hotel was definitely my favourite. Classy, cozy, peaceful, clean, and intimate, and the service and food was just amazing. It was truly an unforgettable experience. One I'll never forget. Thank you so much to all the staff for making my last two days in Mauritius so memorable. I'll be back! ❤️

    Our stay in this hotel was perfect from the very beginning. As we arrived the stuff welcomed us very friendly, we got an delicious welcome-drink. The hotel and it’s area are great, with charm, super concept. rooms are spacious and nice with some suprises :) they are daily cleaned (actually twice a day), house-keeping team is helpfull and friendly. Restaurant, library with multi-languague books, albums and some games, little butique - everything lovely. The view is so beautiful, you can enjoy your meals in restaurant and adore the ocean-view. Beach ist quiet, the hotel offers some free attractions (kayak, SUB-board, snorkeling, glassboat) - the guys in a stuff are always helpful :) Restaurant ist special, menu is so delicious, we loved a food! But! What makes it so special? Stuff. You feel like you spend time with your best friends, Team is so warm, always smiling! Thank you for this special time - Sanjay, Med, Vidusha, Sarika, Bhishay, Rajiv, Kheertee and all Others. You were all amazing, you made our stay in Mauritius special.     This was our second visit and we loved it even more than the first one. The team is very friendly and took a great care of us. We loved the food, at all restaurants. I highly recommend the lobster menu, it was absolutely phenomenal. Nicoletta from Coral bar takes such a good care of her guests, I’m sure they all appreciate her as much as we did. Our housekeeper Ram is the sweetest, he surprised us every day. I recommend the spa center, the yoga class, the gym is very nice and comfortable, Dolce Vita restaurant. If you are traveling for fruits like me, you would most probably like to visit a local market and buy all the fruits you like - book a trip with the sports center on the beach. Our most favorite trip was swimming with the dolphins (book at the touristic agencies counter next to the gift shop), but 5 islands with Chris (he walks around the beach), was also amazing and it’s worth doing. The medical center in the hotel is very reliable, they did the impossible to deliver all needed medication and care we needed. It was another amazing vacation at Ambre and we hope to be back soon.

    Beautiful and well-kept structure, a tropical garden overlooking one of the most beautiful beaches on the island. Spacious and clean rooms, excellent and always varied catering. All-inclusive service that really includes everything. We felt welcomed at home by all the staff, who always made every effort to make all our wishes come true. A special thanks goes to Mr Fawaaz who took care of our stay flawlessly with great professionalism and availability. Another thanks to all the reception staff and in particular to Karene and Taarish: we will never forget your looks and your smiles. Finally, a huge thanks to Sam, who cheered our evenings not only with his drinks but also with his words; a really good and kind person. We look forward to returning to you soon, we already miss you!     Tree Lodge provides a special experience - it is located in a very nice garden with a lot of flowers next to a swimming pool. Owners have been very kind and immediately responded to every wish we had. Breakfast was really delicious - fresh fruit, fruit juice, eggs or omelets, toast with butter and jam, etc. Really high quality. Lodge is located close to Belle mare, one of the nicest beaches in Mauritius. Ben (owner) is also an instructor in a Dive center (Dive passion) on Belle mare and it was a great experience to go with him for diving.

    Amazing place. We’ve really enjoyed our stay at Anahita Golf & Spa Resort. The property has everything you need, the rooms are very spacious, the beds are very confortable, the views are amazing. The breakfast is great and very varied. The service is amazing and all the staff is the best. They go beyond the stars, they’re super friendly, attentive and went out of their way to ensure we were confortable and happy all the time. I highly recommend to stay at this property.

    This was a very chilled location. We enjoyed the free kayaks and saw monkeys on the river bank. The free boat to the island is a great half day trip. Whether its to work and chill out or just chill you will enjoy it. The food was amazing and good introduction to Mauritius cuisine. The staff were all friendly. The drinks and honour system worked well. Nice coffee and breakfast. Couldn't ask for more.

    One word - bliss! We loved our stay. We also had food at EvaZion. The owners and staff are so friendly. We spent Christmas here. Took a boat out to Ile de Cerfs. It is free to take a kayak out to the nearby waterfall. We did this two times and definitely recommend. We saw tropical birds and monkeys. If we ever get the chance, we will be back!

    Horrible experience trying to book the complimentary boat...

    Horrible experience trying to book the complimentary boat for snorkelling. Your guest relations team says to check in the morning since the boat club has closed. They should be able to access & make reservations 24 * 7 - Simply unacceptable answer. If the boat is full, get another boat to make the guests happy: it costs very little. We ended up renting a boat for 5,000 MUR & had a great time. The resort is too large for personalized service.

    La Koquillishe is located between two excellent restaurants : La Case a Poisson and Tino's which have incredible food for reasonable prices. Not to be missed. Also, La Koquillishe has a taxi service which is extremely efficient and correctly priced. Ask for Patrick.

    Our stay at the Bubble Lodge Resort for 2 nights (Lake & sea view Bubble). Mukesh and Nevin where my favourite staff and made our stay extra special to us - we felt very much welcomed: they are outstanding naturally nice. Great employees, great service! We will love to come back some other time :)

    Grand Sable is more of a location you drive through rather than a place to stay. It’s a nice place to see and stop to take pictures as you drive through but not really a place to stay for any length of time except maybe one night. The name sounds like there should a beach here but there is not.

    No restaurants within walking distance. therefore have to bring all your food to villa. Public transport infrequent and no designated timetable for buses, own transport or expensive taxis required. Location was quiet and relaxing.

    A bit beaten town, lots of drunks and abandoned houses. There are some nice restaurants around (Chez Tino, Green Island Beach Restaurant) and places to visit (Île aux Cerfs, GRSE waterfall), but overall not to stay for too long.

    My wife and I were stopping over in Mauritius on route to...

    My wife and I were stopping over in Mauritius on route to Perth, Australia. We booked for three nights but could only stay for one night as Air Mauritius rescheduled our connecting flight for two days earlier, so we only had the one night. We only managed to do a short drive around the following morning and the local area was very quite with only a couple of large resorts nearby and one small supermarket. We did not get to visit the nearby large market in Central Flacq. The drive from the airport was aproximately 1 hour 15 minutes. We then had to drive back the following evening to the airport. Night driving in Mauritius was difficult and slow going so for a one night stay it is not worth it. This part of the island (East) is also very windy, although we found it a warm wind so it was not to bad, even by the pool. The complex is good for a quiet few days or week, but not suitable for those who like a lot going on nearby.
