Ambre had such an amazing vibe and the beach, the pool, the food and the staff were all AMAZING!! We had come from a neighbouring resort and Ambre was bar none a thousand times better, right from the get go, we won’t stay at any other resort when we come to Mauritius again - Ambre has stolen our hearts!! ❤️Tracy checked us in was very thorough & friendly. We had a large quiet, beautiful, clean, room & the king sized bed was so comfy. The complimentary mini bar in the room was restocked daily with beer, pop, water, chocolate bars & chip - Nice touch!! We also really like the tea & coffee (with real milk) that was provided in the room - Nice Touch. We also had a beautiful ocean facing deck that had comfortable furniture. Ravish looked after our room perfectly was super friendly & professional. We celebrated my husbands 60th bday at Dolce Vita - Davisen the restaurant Manager & Ayess took very good care of us, making us feel very valued & special, the service that was provided was the best - professional, friendly & the food was delicious & top quality. We celebrated our 25yr anniversary at Le Plage & Ashiss was wonderful, friendly & professional - the food was excellent!! Anntish looked after our food/drinks on the beach, he was amazing & always had a beautiful smile for us! Vishnu the bartender & Ashwin in the poolside lounge were both so prompt, efficient & friendly. The buffet where we mostly ate had a really great selection of hot and cold food with an ever-changing menu of local & international dishes . All in all we had a wonderful stay at Ambre & all of the staff were super. Thank you for everything. We will definitely be back!! ❤️

I have had the good fortune to visit Mauritius on 3 prior occasions. For my recent family vacation, and 4th trip to the island, we chose Lux Belle Mare, a fabulous resort located on the east coast. We stayed in the Pool Suite for 3 nights and the Prestigious Villa for the next 3 nights. My family and I had a delightful and memorable week at Lux and were really impressed with so many great aspects of this wonderful resort. We enjoyed the warm and welcoming hospitality, the assistance and dedication of all the staff, and the facilities and restaurants. I personally enjoyed the wide buffet selection as well as the dessert counter. The desserts were truly unique and delightful. We were wowed every night with the special desserts available, especially on Easter Sunday! One would have to try really hard to find anything to fault at Lux Belle Mare, especially at the villa. It was large and luxurious in detail, and well maintained. All needs were carefully and promptly taken care. There is no doubt in my mind that when I visit the island again, Lux will be my destination. If you are thinking of Lux as one of your options, I would recommend that you don't think twice - you won't be disappointed! Special acknowledgement to the resort managers Umesh, Suren and Leelesh, as well wonderful assistance received from Jennifer for my wife's birthday celebrations, Gopi for travel logistics and assistance from Rao during our stay at the villa. The best thing of this hotel is the staff! Seeing in our travel period the occupancy was under 20% we stayed a week and a big thanks to all the staff.Without them no hotel no hotel is anything! We were greater daily by the breakfast team with a wonderful breakfast buffet! Many thanks to Julie,Yasmin,Jessica,Bandana and our Chef Moonsamy who probably makes the best omelette we have tasted! The evening restaurant team and bar always made sure everything was fine with a 5 star rotation buffet menu! Special thanks to the Chef Sanguy who always had a smile for us and a small story! The whole kitchen team was fabulous! The hotel has many features and we enjoyed the beaches there and the pool! The rooms are spacious and the housekeeping crew with the floor butler looked after everything perfectly! Front office staff were very professional with concierge and the gardeners look after the property so it was a pleasure to enjoy the nature! I can recommend this hotel to travelers who want to relax and enjoy sophisticated food and service! My wife and son will be back and thanks to all involved to make our week stay memorable!

We stayed at a few different hotels across the island and this was by FAR the best! The layout of the hotel is great: it feels small and intimate but it is very well thought out and has everything you need! They even have a departure lounge, where you can leave your luggage but also take a shower and get ready if you wanna stay at the pool after checking out! We had a sea view room and it was simply amazing to be able to wake up to the sound of waves. The room was clean and so comfortable. The restaurants were DELICIOUS. The breakfast has great options including fresh omelettes and french toast, and the TABAJ restaurant offers some delicious mauritian options. The pool area is great and the pool bar is amazing. The staff were all extremely kind and helpful, very attentive and caring about their guests. I honestly could not recommend this place more, we wish we stayed longer!

- the location is beautiful, the space they did around the pool and restaurant is really well done. - the river and waterfall are the highlight..you can get out of the kayak and walk to follow the river, with monkeys jumping around and flying foxes flying in the sky. - You pay for the tent but you also get the kayaks, the bikes and the boat to the island included. So it becomes a great price, especially if you are 4 in a tent.

Very friendly staff, a nice restaurant, relativrly small hotel however everything is available, good water sport activities and for free mostly, nice spa with good prices.

Excellent and very reasonably priced resort. Badhoun welcomed us and made us feel at home immediately. Reception staff and hotel and poolside staff excellent too.

This place is amazing. The scenery is great, the rooms over the water are beautiful, staff are great. You pay for the privilege, but it's worth it!

The stuff was very friendly and nice. They also had a wide variety of delicious vegetarian dishes, also for their special dinner menues!

Staff was very nice and helpful especially Vishal and Princy. Also the location of the property was very nice ,clean and calm.
