This was a once-in-a-lifetime experience and it was worth every penny. It’s not just a place to stay, it’s a whole package of activities and meals. When I arrived, I was a bit too early for check-in, so I was invited to do a tea tasting on a beautiful balcony overlooking the lake. While I sampled 8 different types of tea, I watched a family of wild boars trot past, and I couldn’t help but laugh when a monkey stole a box of tea from a neighboring table. When I was invited to my bubble lodge, I was blown away by the details - flower petals on the bed, stunning views of nature. It would be perfect for a honeymoon, but I also enjoyed it as a solo traveler. I spent my afternoon watching the animals from my bubble - monkeys, wild boars, a black swan. I also took a long walk around the lake. The dinner (included in the room reservation) was exquisite. Three delicious courses and plenty of vegetarian options. I also really liked the tea bread served with tea chutney. During my dinner, I watched Java deer just outside of the panoramic windows. After dinner, I had a beautiful nighttime walk back to my bubble, and I laid in bed watching the stars and listening to animals rustling in the trees. When I awoke in the morning, I found that a pair of Java deer were looking into my bubble, and the black swan was also right outside. I took a rain shower outdoors with a bit of actual rain mixed in. I had a delicious breakfast that consisted of crepes, an omelet, yogurt, juice, tea, and more of my favorite tea bread. Next I borrowed a bicycle from the lodge and rode it to the tea museum, where I learned all about tea, and then I took a guided tour of the Bois Cheri tea factory. At the end, I had yet another tea tasting, and then it was time to check out of my hotel. All-in-all, I had a perfect stay and I really hope that I will have an opportunity to come back someday. I want to give a special shout-out to Tina, who took really good care of me in the restaurant.

Mauritius is truly a wonderful place! We had a very large and comfortable room with lots of big windows and plenty of air conditioning. Everything was impeccably clean. The hotel has a nice private beach area with plenty of chairs and shade. It's a nice, smaller resort with a quiet, low-key vibe - very relaxing. Beautiful white sand beach. The waterfront staff were very helpful (especially Prakash!) They have a free glass-bottom boat and snorkel trip twice a day. The buffets were great! Staff were very helpful with anything we needed.

First of all, I want to thank the resort for hiring great staff such as "Megha and Jarvin" Megha has the nicest smile and welcoming, she helped me a lot and made me feel at home, I'm sure I'll be coming back specially for her. As for Jarvin, he helped me arrange my activities outside the resort, he helped getting me a great taxi driver, who became a friend as well, sorry Jarvin if I gave you hard times with my late requests. Thank you everyone at Outrigger, you made my week really memorable, looking forward to visit again!

Everything. The location was great and although we had a lot of rain, the view was beautiful and there are so many birds around. The lodge itself is decorated nicely and the bed is comfy. The utensils and cooking facilities are ample. The breakfast is simple but enough (per person: 2 eggs, 3 slices of bread, jam, butter, cornflakes, yogurt, milk and fruit juice). Thank you, I highly recommend it.

The location was central between Blue Bay Beach and Mahébourg with a mall just 7 minutes away. The size of the hotel allowed for the friendly staff to remember each guests by name. The beach was beautiful, plenty of lounge chairs and great snorkeling! The food was beautifully presented (different menu every day) and drinks were delicious.

Great value for money. You get what you pay. We are satisfied. We had the apartment 14 upstairs which looked in better condition than the ones downstairs (where my friends were). Definitely recommend to book the room 14! Very close to a supermarket and a restaurant called le bistrot.

The place is very nice and peaceful and close to the airport. The room was very nice and comfortable. There’s a mall just 2 minutes away on the other side of the street. Staff that received us was also very nice.

The restarant was amazing food and service. I booked our anniversairy surprise in the room was outstanding. Vimal was amazing bartender . Beach waiter was ama.zing . Beach dinner lunch was above expectation.7

Clean and spacious room, with very good and diversified breakfast options. The staff was spot on. Will definitely visit again!
