We had an amazing stay at Stone Beach Hotel. This hotel is a building separate from Stone Hotel which is in front of the beach (stunning) but you can use the facilities as it’s from the same branch. (Actually, this island could be called Stone Island). Everyone in there was incredible, from Hotel Staff to Naahil from the dive center. The inifinity pool is from another world.

I had a truly wonderful stay at this hotel! From the moment I arrived, the hospitality was outstanding. Sanjay, in particular, was an incredible host , warm, attentive, and always going above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect. You can really tell he takes great pride in creating a welcoming experience for guests. The entire staff was equally fantastic, friendly, professional, and always ready with a smile. They made us feel right at home throughout my stay. Whether it was offering helpful local tips or simply checking in to see if I needed anything, their service was exceptional. We had a wonderful stay at Avyanna Hotel on Gulhi! The staff were incredibly kind, welcoming, and always ready to help with a smile. The food was excellent—flavorful, well-seasoned, and beautifully served. Every meal felt like it was made with care. The hotel was clean, cozy, and just a short walk from the beach. It was the perfect place to relax and enjoy the island. We truly felt at home and appreciated the warm atmosphere.     Our stay was absolutely incredible. We were greeted with the lovely reception at the pier after a very comfortable short trip via speedboat. We then enjoyed the brand new beautiful, spacious and quiet over-water villa with a wonderful sunset view and private pool. Ibrahim was our host during our stay - he was always available when we needed him and exceeded with everything we asked for! From helping us get to places, sorting restaurant reservations, to giving us tips for snorkeling spots and having answers to all our Maldives-related questions. The resort and facilities were perfect - all restaurants were amazing, especially Baan Huura and Origami. Roshan and Sony at Origami truly made our night special. For people that like activities, there is more than enough to chose from. We really can't wait to be back. All in all a perfect place to stay and relax and enjoy time away from a busy time at home.

    We had an amazing experience at Anantara Dhigu. Here the highlights: -All staff were so welcoming and warm. -Breakfast was rich full of yummy and also healthy options like kumbucha, chia puddings and all kind of juices you can imagine. -Room was really clean and spacious. Bed and pillow were pretty comfortable and the shower was so good. -Thai and Japanese restaurants were spectacular. -Really convenient to go from Male Int airport since the have speedy boats working 24/7 and in just 35min you’re at the resort. -The bikes to enjoy and explore the island are so nice. -We saw so many marine life at the island’s beaches. Sharks, stingrays, turtles and so many different fishes.

    Embudhu is everything if you just need the sea, a wonderful marine life with all the turtles, rays, mantas, fish, corals and aditionally island-animals like birds, crabs, Flying Foxes... If you are not looking for action, TV, fun-activities, noise, music, but only need silence and relaxing times. It will be just you, the island, the sea, the animals. And no shoes during your stay. This is what we wanted and we got it perfectly. Moreover the restaurant and the food are great, the staff is more than helpful and always friendly. What else is needed for a perfect stay?

    We stayed 6 nights in this hotel for our honeymoon. Everything was just perfect. Natural beauty of the island was incredible. We thought that we were in Paradise. We loved the food a lot. We ate in the main restaurant from the buffet and there are very rich options with the fresh seafood every day. House wine is very tasty. Swapan in the main restaurant was very good.     One of the most beautiful places in the world. Wherever you look, you'll find postcard worthy landscape. The ocean was very clean, ideal for snorkling and apparently it was a good spot for surfing as well. All in all, a must see.

    Maafushi is, overall, a great place – the people are friendly and welcoming. The weak point is definitely the services. When it comes to hotels, don’t expect luxury. In my opinion, for what you actually get, it’s overpriced. One big plus is that Maafushi gives you more freedom. You’re not tied to a resort – you can move around, explore, go jogging if you want, and enjoy the island on your own terms. You can book trips easily, there’s stuff to do, and it doesn’t feel restrictive.

    Hulhumale despite being busy like the rest of Male has an airy feel to it with lots of greenery - almost colonial. The East side is quiet for traffic although it's close to the seaplane flight paths - I didn't find that intrusive. The West side has the harbour with the ferry terminal and where the liveaboards anchor between trips. When I was there there had been a lot of recent building work so I would avoid staying there. Lots of options for buying fresh fruit and vegentables if you need and a range of places to eat at different price ranges.

    I loved the proximity to Male for ease of arrival and departure. I also loved looking at the city lights from afar, whilst being separated by stunningly turquoise waters and the gentle sounds of lapping waves. The marine life in the lagoon was plentiful and beautiful, and I had many marine visitors near my villa at all hours of the day. The snorkelling with sharks-excursion was probably the single best experience, but the resort itself was the star of the whole experience. The quality of the villa (amazing bed, wonderful toiletries from L'Occitane, the view, the constant refill of free fresh water and Nespresso coffee) and the rest of the resort (amazing food, world-class spa) was the stuff of holiday dreams!

    We LOVED Dhiffushi!

    We LOVED Dhiffushi! A real taste of a local island, the thing that struck us was how quiet and peaceful it was. We wandered everywhere on foot and loved that the roads are all sand. We were there in monsoon season and experienced some storms but they were short and everyone just gets on with stuff. There was some rubbish washed up on the non-hotel beach areas but most hotels keep their areas spotless. Both bikini beaches were absolutely stunning. Would definitely recommend Dhiffushi as a real gem of a local island. As an added bonus, we could not believe how cheap everything was too!

    I absolutely loved my time in Thulusdhoo - my first time in...

    I absolutely loved my time in Thulusdhoo - my first time in the Maldives! I feel I picked a fabulous island to spend 4 days of relaxation and calmness following a busy elective healthcare placement. The island was so beautiful and peaceful. The beaches were so clean, white sands, the water was crystal clear, all sun-loungers free to use and very friendly locals and business owner stalls, businesses, and restaurants. A couple I met whilst away also got engaged on sunset beach with the most beautiful backdrop (a real must to visit during the evenings)! Plenty of places to choose from to eat - from beach bars to evening dining. I went to Juice Bench every day for lunch, the staff were so kind and smiley and the food was delicious and fresh. I also ate dinner at Indulge (10/10 pizza!), Cafe Bandaha for dinner, amazing tikka masala curry and the freshest apple juice! (Breakfast was included in my hotel - Eden Blue - which I also highly recommend!). I took two excursions with Baani Watersports - first the reef shark and stingray trip, which was absolutely amazing! The second trip was the sandbank and turtles trip, again - amazing! The team were very friendly, fun, and ensured we were looked after throughout. They took fabulous photo's of us all on their gopro which they sent to us afterwards free of charge. I also found their pricing very competitive! Getting around the island is easy peasy. I walked every day, it is quite small so can be easily lapped in around 45 minutes of strolling. People were also using mopeds and bicycles. I also received a complementary shuttle service from the ferry port to my accommodation and back which was a very welcomed bonus. Overall, the island is wonderful, the people are so lovely, and I'm SO glad I picked this island to spend my 4 days! I hope to be back one day soon - perhaps with someone next time so I have a companion in the evenings when it's a little quieter!

    It is a really peaceful island with a really nice beach.

    It is a really peaceful island with a really nice beach. Beach has almost that resort level quality to it. Island is small, so besides water activities or some excursions, there is not much to do, so for some travelers it might get boring.

    Guraidhoo - ferry every day and easy to reach from Male, not so busy yet, not yet ugly concrete big buildings, bikini beach is one of the most beautiful I have ever seen. White soft sand with turquoise warm water and sandy shore for fantastic swimming and walking on the sandbar - great for kids too, sunbeds and good cafe on the beach, there are corals and ship wreck for snorkeling and not to forget the shark feeding place - simply amazing to watch sharks and rays - great entertainment for the evening. There are great restaurants with fantastic prices. This island is amazing choice !

    We only had 4 days and picked Huraa because it is close to the airport. A very bad choice. The island is absolutely not nice, full of trash, nothing is taken care of, even the bikini beach was a huge disappointment, dirty, broken sunbeds, only 6 umbrellas. No cafes, restaurants anywhere. The only nice place on the entire island is the Pearl Sands. It is a hotel, but you can pay a daypass to use their beautiful private beach including a very a good lunch. That place saved our vacation.

    It was a lovely island friendly people & I think I stayed in the best place for me on this island my host were fantastic, they could not of done more to make my stay any better than it already was 10/10 perfect 😍 I loved all the food I had @ Indian cafe,loved swimming @ the local beach, not bikini beach One thing I really disliked was Moscow yeda they tried to double charge me on my credit card when I asked them about 6 of them just started laughing, eventually I got my money back & that was the only bad experience on the whole island.
