The staff was amazing and super helpful during my stay there. My phone charger gate was broken and it shut down on the date before my flight. I was so panic if i could not open the flight ticket on the phone. The Nepalese staff took me to the local electricity shop and luckily the owner of the shop lend me the wireless charger. Thus i was saved that time. The room are clean and comfortable. 100% recommended to stay with a low budget but nice accomodation like this one ♡

Everything was perfect. The rooms, the food, the staff, the manager, the excursions, the weather, the beach, etc.. - highly recommended! Many thanks to the Whaleshark Team! Our highlight was the full day boat tour. We were able to swim/snorkel with whalesharks, mantas, sea turtles and many others. That was something very special for us.     Very kind stuff and everything was perfectly organized. Stuff was all the time available to help with whatever we needed. Altrough it was windy season they put extraordinary effort to keep all the facilities clean and safe. I read some reviews here that people experienced problem with connection, communication or stuff communication. Obviously Kandima put a lot of effort to improve all that as we didn't experience any problem during our stay. All inclusive was a great value. We had great time at dinners in restaurants Smoked, Sea Dragon and Azure. Also main restaurants were very clean and food was good. Not so many chlices if you expect European food only, but fish and seafood was great. Also, beach jacuzzi villa was great value with direct access to the beach ans very big jacuzzi. Overall, bathroom was like mini spa center. This is our 5th time in Maldives and this is one of the best experience especially as we traveled with a small kid (<2yo).

    We stayed at Villa park for 7 nights and we enjoyed every single moment. It was definitely the best holiday ever. We loved everything especially the staff are all so friendly and welcoming, they made our holiday special. Thank you to everyone there especially Nizam, Ahmed from the restaurant, Kalam the chef, Shalahuddin the chef, Faruq from house keeping, Jugal from green fingers, Kamil and the team from water sports and the main bar. The property is beautiful, clean and modern, the island is relatively big to do so many things. Everything exceeded our expectations and 120% recommend to anyone planning to go to Maldives. We will definitely come back to Villa Park!

    Stayed in the water bungalow and it was great experience. The glass in the floor to see the fish especially at night time was amazing. You can snorkel in the reef just outside the island. The snorkeling gear was free if you stayed more than one night. The snorkeling was fantastic- so many fish including several smaller sharks that passed by the reef. Great food and lots of choices. The staff was very helpful to accommodate food allergies (nuts and peanuts) Everyone was very friendly and making your stay special.

Note that 1.its really close to the main airport so after long flight its great to be transferred fast&smooth 2.its connected with 2 other resorts with non stop available and free speedboats.     I only stayed overnight in Male and, in general, it was enough. Simply passing though to get my flight home. As expected the city is noisy, busy and hectic. Wow the contrast from the laid-back, easygoing atol where I was based for the holiday. However, I still quite enjoyed it. The guy from the diving company arranged a tour guide for me whose policy was that I pay him what I thought his time was worth. I got to experience the traffic from a scooter (quite scary to begin with) was taken to the market and given lots of free samples of local foods to try and had visits to all the important sites in three brilliant hours. He also introduced me to a wonderful restaurant - The Seagull Cafe- where I visited another twice before leaving the food and the coffee were so good.

    Maafushi is, overall, a great place – the people are friendly and welcoming. The weak point is definitely the services. When it comes to hotels, don’t expect luxury. In my opinion, for what you actually get, it’s overpriced. One big plus is that Maafushi gives you more freedom. You’re not tied to a resort – you can move around, explore, go jogging if you want, and enjoy the island on your own terms. You can book trips easily, there’s stuff to do, and it doesn’t feel restrictive.

    One of the most beautiful places in the world. Wherever you look, you'll find postcard worthy landscape. The ocean was very clean, ideal for snorkling and apparently it was a good spot for surfing as well. All in all, a must see.

    Hulhumale despite being busy like the rest of Male has an airy feel to it with lots of greenery - almost colonial. The East side is quiet for traffic although it's close to the seaplane flight paths - I didn't find that intrusive. The West side has the harbour with the ferry terminal and where the liveaboards anchor between trips. When I was there there had been a lot of recent building work so I would avoid staying there. Lots of options for buying fresh fruit and vegentables if you need and a range of places to eat at different price ranges.

    I loved the proximity to Male for ease of arrival and departure. I also loved looking at the city lights from afar, whilst being separated by stunningly turquoise waters and the gentle sounds of lapping waves. The marine life in the lagoon was plentiful and beautiful, and I had many marine visitors near my villa at all hours of the day. The snorkelling with sharks-excursion was probably the single best experience, but the resort itself was the star of the whole experience. The quality of the villa (amazing bed, wonderful toiletries from L'Occitane, the view, the constant refill of free fresh water and Nespresso coffee) and the rest of the resort (amazing food, world-class spa) was the stuff of holiday dreams!

    We LOVED Dhiffushi! A real taste of a local island, the thing that struck us was how quiet and peaceful it was. We wandered everywhere on foot and loved that the roads are all sand. We were there in monsoon season and experienced some storms but they were short and everyone just gets on with stuff. There was some rubbish washed up on the non-hotel beach areas but most hotels keep their areas spotless. Both bikini beaches were absolutely stunning. Would definitely recommend Dhiffushi as a real gem of a local island. As an added bonus, we could not believe how cheap everything was too!

    We liked almost everything.

    We liked almost everything. Our vacation was relaxing and beautiful. The beach was perfect, with soft almost white sand and warm, clear blue water. The bungalow was was really cozy with sun set view. Snorkeling we saw sharks, turtles, so many amazing small fishes. And they were almost near our place. We had wonderful neighbors and made new friendships.

    The people that work there in the island are very genuine...

    The people that work there in the island are very genuine and polite and helpful, always smiling. They make your time there very pleasant. Don’t forget to tip them. Jr and Anastasia from the club house coordinators are amazing and multi talented individuals. Don’t miss their daily sport activities by the pool.

    An amazing snorkelling beach -no boats or travel required -just thousands of colourful fish and turtles, perfect white sand and palm trees. The concession stand sold delicious, fresh-picked fruit-watermelon, papaya, bananas. We loved the Coccoa beach restaurant and the Black Anchor and the Mango House had fabulous lattes and desserts.

    Dhigurah is a beautiful island with a long sandy beach, without sunbeds and umbrellas, the palm trees lining the island will provide you with sufficient shade. At the end of the island there is a sandbank, which can be reached by walking, cycling or scooter through the tropical forest. There are several shops with groceries, souvenirs and restaurants on the island. There is a lot of accommodation in different places on the island with quality services. The local people are smiling and friendly. There is a hospital, a police station, the Maldivian office and mosques on the island. Waste from the island is taken to the forest, where it is burned in the afternoon, we only felt the smoke from the waste when there was a strong wind. You can get to the island from the airport by speedboat, the journey takes about two hours, if you suffer from nausea, I recommend taking anti-nausea medicine, you will definitely need it when the waves are bigger. There is a coral reef around the island, you can see many colorful fish, we were lucky to see a turtle and a small shark. There are resorts on the surrounding atolls, to which seaplanes fly daily. What we didn't like on the island is the massive construction of new accommodation facilities, I'm afraid that in a short time, there will be more tourists on the island than locals and the island will lose its authenticity and beauty.
