- Scored out of 10, guest rating 7.9Good - What previous guests thought, 2,409 reviewsThis property is a real gem on Booking.com. It was awesome from the car elevator garage, to the huge multi-room apartment, decorated by Allessi. It was so comfortable for our group of four, with dining, living and two bedrooms, one and a half bathrooms and laundry room. The windows can open and shut electronically and it is fully equipped with a dishwasher, refrigerator, soaker bathtub, shower and 3 TVs. The panoramic view, including outdoor access on a large balcony, of Rotterdam is fantastic. We were sad to leave this modern, spacious apartment hotel.Guest review byMarthaCanada

But the staff were extremely helpful . No doubt now it will be super to stay and have restaurant facilities. Being a booking for same day for 2 rooms and easter we were lucky to find the Charlton beach hotel. Would highly recommend it. Also handy that the tram stops in front of the hotel.Guest review byTheresiaUnited Kingdom

Best city in The Netherlands. Great food, great shopping. Architecture, river, art. Rotterdam has it all. Go do your half day on the canals in Amsterdam. Then spend 3 days in Rotterdam to really enjoy yourself.Guest review byvan den Broek - 10.0

The Hague was a big surprise, as the prices for hotels and food was less expensive that in Amsterdam. We did travel to other places like Delft, Rotterdam, Leiden from here as the train system is the best, fast, cheap and reliable to the minute. Not as many tourists as in Amsterdam and we loved the 2 hrs free tour of the city [you just tip at the end] from a very knowledgeable young man that made it very interesting. Unfortunately we didn't see the king or queen. I found The Hague exemplary in many aspects like cleanliness, cordiality, with many friendly people lovers of their beer. Museums are great, and we walked everyday and ate at pubs or locals with fast food.Guest review byTravel while you canAustralia - 8.0

We visited outside the season and enjoyed that there wasn't any overcrowding. It was easy to walk into any of the bars, restaurants or cafes and get an available table. We were lucky with the weather and fully enjoyed the beach and the promenade and a quick trip by tram into Den Haag. The tram ride took all of 10 - 15 minutes, buying a ticket was straight forward and easy. Breakfast at Oceans Beach is a strong recommendation, they even catered for special dietry requests and couldn't have been more welcoming. Dinners at Sumo and Big Bell were very pleasant and tasty.Guest review byBeritNetherlands - 10.0

A fantastic place with so much history- for anyone interested in historic textiles, Leiden was the hub of blanket weaving since medieval times. The Leidse Deken, weavershuis and many other historic places are well within walking distance in Leiden. The De Lakenhal museum is a fantastic historical resource of the textile history in the area. You can rent a small canal boat $90 euro for 2 hrs and such a fantastic way to see the city on an electric powered canal boat you can drive yourself. Well worth visiting.Guest review byMopoUnited States - 10.0

I used to live 20 minute cycle ride from here so have been there many times. Very nice town, the promenade is a lovely walk or bike ride. Would encourage people to hire bikes and explore. There is a fantastic bike ride through the dunes very scenic. The beach is very big with restaurants dotted all along. A really nice place to visit.Guest review byGRSUnited Kingdom - 10.0
Delft is known as a "Little Amsterdam" (to me, at least!).
Delft is known as a "Little Amsterdam" (to me, at least!). It's a lot smaller than Amsterdam, but very beautiful & friendly. Excellent train service . Prices seem to me a lot less than Amsterdam, although that is a very worthwhile city to visit as well.Guest review byHowardUnited States - 8.0
Our trip was mainly to visit family.
Our trip was mainly to visit family. But we also enjoyed the boat ride around the city. Visiting the old city hall the old churches and the windmill that was still working to grind flour. Many quaint little shops. Enjoyed the different types of restaurants with outdoor patios and great food.all in all a very enjoyable stay.Guest review byAnonymous - 2.0

NOT AS DESCRIBED ON THE WEBSITE, EXACT OPPOSITE, DIRTY, OLD, STINKY! Liked · Unfortunately NOTHING AT ALL! The only good thing was the receptionist had spoken English & tried to guide me to the property. Disliked · I paid for the room online over the Booking.com. The pictures of the property on the website were neat & looked tidy! But as i have arrived it was exact the opposite! The receptionist had to guide me to the property on the phone as at the time major renovation was in progress & scaffolding were placed in front of the property, which made it difficult to locate. The area where the hotel is based, looked rough, the carpets in the lobby were stinky & to finish the experience off, my room has been already sold to someone else, even though I have paid for it online! I got a cash refund & went out upset, as i driven for 3 days & was desperate to rest & now I was left to look for a room to sleep, last minute prices & availability in a city late night are a challenge for a tired traveller! Very Disappointing!Guest review byM.B Autocare - 8.0
Drove and took the backroads on my way to Gorinchem.
Drove and took the backroads on my way to Gorinchem. Roads were narrow thru the country area and sometimes uphill and downhill. Laahavvvvv it!!!..it was a rainy/stormy weather and it just made me reminisce of the countryside were I grew from. The view and vibe was amazing. Still plan to go back and take the backroads to explore again.Guest review byEllenNetherlands - 8.0
We stayed for 3 nights at this lovely location!
We stayed for 3 nights at this lovely location! Nice apartment over 2 levels with a well equipped kitchen close to shops. We used it as a base for day trip to The Hague and to the tulip gardens. if you don’t have a local debit card do not park in the parking station at the shopping centre. There is nobody on-site to help and the machine wouldn’t except our cards. Thankfully a helpful local helped out with his card. Other parking avail close by We cooked and ate in. Local people very helpful and friendly.Guest review byRichardAustralia
