Hospitality was great. The staff people were extremely friendly and helpful. Kudos! We stayed with our dog and he was very welcomed. Perfect location, lots to see and explore.

Second time visit here, I'll say the yard is one of the best spot of hardanger fjord. Renovated room is very clean and huge. Also with coffee/tea facilities and a fridge, which used to have none. Like it very much. Had three nights buffet dinner. The qarm dishes and pastries changed daily. Has a huge variety of seafood and pastries. Comparing to last time I visited, the food imporved a lot. But I do missed the harp live performance. The basement (ground floor) changed but still have a lot to explore. You can find lots of stories belonging to Edvard Grieg and history of this hotel there. There are also several seating area, each with different kinds of feeling. The atmosphere is fantastic. I tried playing my instrument in one of the area in a rainy day and love it.

We had the house! It was great, plenty of space, the master’s bedroom had a window next to a little stream… the kids could be upstairs. The kids really loved it there as there were in the common area a ping pong table, pool table….

A great hotel with huge duplex rooms for the five of us. Good secure parking in the basement for the five motorcycles. Lovely helpful staff who couldn’t do more to help. Definitely stay here again!!
