Great location next to the train station and gondola, clean and spacious room, friendly staff. Easy to check in really early (for a fee). The alternative would have been leaving our bags in the bag room, but for us it was better to pay for the earlier check-in. Beautiful hikes at the top of the gondola. Great experience.

Traditional hotel renovated to very good standard. Restaurant has good food. Sand beach is 200m away. Supermarket also close. Hint: Ask for a room in the old part of the hotel (rooms are renovated and really beautiful)

Amazing location!!! Surrounded by waterfalls and loads of hiking trails. Of my two weeks touring Norway, this was in the top 3 best places I stayed. Beautiful interior has an elegant vibe and highlights the history behind this old hotel. Dinner was sublime (grilled reindeer with baked pear) and staff was very friendly. You can’t beat the incredible view and plethora of hiking options at your doorstep.
