Everything here are just perfect! The view, the cabin, the amenities. I just love everything about it. John himself greeted us for check-in and he is very kind. Everything went smooth and we highly recommend this cabin to everyone who wants to stop at Akrafjorden.

A classic architecturally significant building that honours the hydro industrial era of Norway post WW2. Can't complain about the view either. Lots to do, walking, sauna and swimming as well as just relaxing and taking in the buildings. Food was really top notch and considered too. Breakfast was nice rather than the standard Norwegian buffet.

The receptionist was very helpful and kind. Breakfast buffet had good variety, also there was a microwave that one can use at any time (we didn't find any restaurant open at the time, so it was great to have option to heat up some food from a supermarket). Very spacious and clean room.

Sauda is a small place.
Sauda is a small place. There is a nice walk in Åbøbyen with beautiful houses and gardens from when the "EFC" built the city. Said that the museum of the industrial worker is closed on weekends.

Beautiful nature by the fjord.
Beautiful nature by the fjord. Plenty of mountains, waterfalls, fishing, bathing etc. Sauda is a little town built around a smelter - seen its best days but still offer shops, restaurants and various facilities. Great place for hiking and skiing in winter.
