Hotel was interesting and comfortable. Staff were extremely helpful and friendly. Breakfast was simple but had everything you need in a lovely setting. Beds were comfortable and shower was great.

Fantastic little place with a lot of atmosphere! the room had a lot of space, it was clean and super comfortable. The staff was amazing and welcoming, making us feel at hone, as every request was answered immediately. the internet was slow, but the hotel manager warned us before we even knew that there is a general issue related to the entire area, so it’s not the hotel’s fault. the AC a bit noisy, but it didn’t matter much as this hotel is a gem!

Loved this place! Friendly, helpful staff and spacious, clean rooms with convenient restaurant for dinner down the hall. Situated in a peaceful rural town. I would go out of my way to stay here again.

An atmospheric and historic building in the central heritage district of Oamaru. The renovations that have been done to meet modern expectations of convenience and comfort have been done with respect to the original. The staff were welcoming and helpful. Facilities are basic but price is quite reasonable and made up for by the character, location and friendly staff of the property. At the time I stayed, it was quiet and parking, although on the street, was not a problem at all.

The house is so comfortable with the perfect blend of heritage features and modern updates in baths and kitchen. Very spacious main rooms and lots of natural light and big deck. Parking was excellent. The beds and linens were wonderful. The location is fabulous and easy walking distance to the town shops and restaurants. The view is also wonderful to the ocean and Victorian buildings. Would definitely stay again and hopefully longer.

A very welcoming, clean and comfortable place to stay! Dawn was so helpful and responsive. We were only a short 5 minute drive from the penguin colony and Dawn kindly offered us blankets to wrap in for the cold evening adventure - thank you! We enjoyed the lovely breakfast too!

Beautiful setting with wonderful garden. Excellent hosts in Michelle and Steve who are simply two of the nicest people hosting a bed and breakfast we have ever met. Wonderful breakfast and can highly recommend taking the option of an evening meal as Michelle is a great cook. Nice to also have the option of buying local wine to accompany the meal. Staying for dinner also means you get the chance of hearing more brilliant stories from Steve. Very comfortable room and bed
