- From $118.91 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 9.1Wonderful - What previous guests thought, 590 reviewsWe are very happy that we selected this place to stay. The arrival was convenient, we parked our normal rental car at the base at the end of the asphalt road, enjoyed tea and dates and then took the 4WD car to move to the desert (for a reasonable fee). Already this journey was an interesting experience. The camp in the desert is very nice, it's not very large so you can enjoy the nature/sand near by. There are some dunes next to the camp. Most people go to towards the dunes to enjoy the sunset and sunrise. Breakfast is included and is very good. We also took the dinner and it's really good value. There are some free activities like local cloth, evening fire and goat milking. These activities will keep you busy during your stay. (If you plan to relax and enjoy some quiet time you should spend at least 2 nights.) Our family tent was big with many beds, it was clean and the beds were comfortable. There was a private bathroom next to the tent. There's also some WiFi and mobile signal. There's light in the tent and electrical sockets in the main building. Free coffee/tea/water is a nice bonus.Guest review byZDENEKCzech Republic
- From $178.36 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 8.8Excellent - What previous guests thought, 262 reviewsPerfect desert camping with magnificent giant sand dune as back drop, inspiring sunrises and sunsets, star-filled sky, absolute silence, and random camels wandering around. We spent 2 nights here so we could experience the desert through the 24-hour cycle. The sleeps were warm and comfy, the meals tasty, and service impeccable from Assad, Joel and Joce. The owner Hamid, is a hardworking 15-year desert tourism veteran, and had lots of tales. Campfire and meal times make for great conversations with other guests. We paid OMR25 for the 25-min return 4x4 transfer from Bidiyah, and OMR10 per person for camel rides and dune bashing, both loads of fun. This is a licensed camp, which uses largely solar power and pumps up water from a 150-metre well.Guest review bySumitMalaysia
- From $618.33 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 8.9Excellent - What previous guests thought, 1,430 reviewsStaff - The staff at the camp were extremely professional and helpful. I'd like to take the time to mention three members of staff who made the experience all the more memorable - Mr. Sharik, Mr. Rohit and Ms. Isha. Mr. Ali our wadi bashing guide was very sweet as well. Rooms - Our rooms were quite spacious and very clean. The only thing I would like to bring to attention was that the steps leading up to our room were in need of some repair. otherwise, the blankets, beds - excellent The food and the variety provided was just right.Guest review byseemaOman

Location is amazing, you're completely surrounded by dunes, and you're far from the main road, so it's the perfect desert experience.Guest review byDeyanBulgaria

Loved the sunset drive on the dunes.
Loved the sunset drive on the dunes. Dune bashing was fun and you can tell your driver what version of this you want - soft to fast ! Staff were friendly and accommodating. Make sure you book your seat at outdoor dining to avoid not getting a seat if the camp is full. Also book activities as soon as so you get your preferred time. Food was great - huge selection in the buffet and the musical entertainment was a great surprise !Guest review byAliceUnited Kingdom - 10.0
The desert is very beautiful here.
The desert is very beautiful here. Despite the multitude of camps, it is not a problem to have a perfectly quiet and serene evening or morning walk among the dunes. If possible, aim for a moonless night to enjoy the full splendor of the night sky.Guest review byMarkoBulgaria - 10.0
We had an excellent stay at the camp.
We had an excellent stay at the camp. It's a small and private camp, with a great view on the sand dunes. The tents are fully equipped and comfortable. All the people working at the camp were super friendly and helpful. They made sure everything was according to our expectations and beyond. We did a dune bashing activity, where we also watched the sunrise and took beautiful pictures. I also definitely recommend the camel ride to watch the sunrise! The dinner and breakfast was super delicious, and we enjoyed watching the stars around the campfire at night.Guest review byAnonymous
