An unforgettable vacation that makes you want to return. Very friendly and attentive staff. Stunning views. Peace and quiet all around. Beautiful and comfortable rooms. The room offers complimentary not only water, tea, and coffee (capsules) but also fruits and sweets. Delicious food for breakfast and dinner. A heated swimming pool. The hotel is ready to organize various activities (its own or from neighboring hotels) such as ATVs, camel rides, ballooning and jeep tours. We combined work with leisure, and the Wi-Fi was good enough for video conferences (for using Viber, it’s better to enable a VPN or use a local eSIM). We had an online meeting after checking out of our room, and the hotel provided us with the opportunity to hold it from the restaurant. To reach the hotel, it’s best to have a 4x4 jeep.

We were warmly welcomed and Saeed was a great host. The authentic camp was very well presented and the attention to detail was amazing (small decorations well blended into the whole picture). The additional drive through the dunes with sunset watching was very fun and Saeed was again very thoughtful (prepared some bedouin coffee on a wood fire for the sunset watching). We finished the day with a bedouin meal which they prepared on a fire right in front of us. We got to know the omani people as very welcoming and this experience confirmed it again. Thank you!

Very nice accommodation in the desert, which is a great departure from the classic hotel accommodation. If you have the nature to do without the usual hotel room environment, you will be thrilled. The sunrise and sunset are beautiful.

From the moment we arrived we were treated to Omani hospitality at its very best. The thrill of driving over the sandunes to the camp and on arrival being served with hot/cold beverages along with dates, fruit and nuts. Our host Hammed is a charming man and delighted to give us insight into the traditions and history of desert living but also to melt away and allow us to enjoy our surroundings. Nothing was too much trouble even when on the morning of our departure we had a flat tyre. Everything was sorted for us. The tents were airy, with warm comfortable beds and beautifully decorated in a traditional manner. Everywhere was spotlessly clean and well maintained including the onsite facilities which included a cold! morning shower. As our dinner was prepared we watched the sun set over the sandunes. The food was plentiful (too much to eat), beautifully served and a dazzling array of different dishes served at both breakfast and dinner. After dinner we relaxed by the camp fire stargazing enjoying more tea/coffee, dates fruit and nuts while enjoying the stillness of the desert at night. If you are looking to experience the desert in a romantic, tranquil setting look no further - enjoy

Spend a night in the desert is an experience that you must to do in your life, amazing! A guide bring us from the office to the camp with a 4WD passing through the desert, we was greeted with dates and tea, the room was really fascinating. Before the dinner we sit near the fire with the locals that offered us camel milk and a tipical bread. The buffet dinner was really good. In the early morning, at the sunrise, we do the camel walk in the dunes to see the sun sunrising, it was an unique experience.

VERY friendly family run place. Everyone doing their best to make you feel at home. A range of free or paid activities you can participate in or not. They have recently changed away from diesel generators to solar panels with battery backup at night. They are becoming a green oasis in more than one way!

Beautiful place in the middle of the desert with lots of luxury. Large dinner and breakfast buffet were provided and even a cinema at the dunes in the evening. The staff was accommodating and very supportive. They even gave us tips where to go for night star watching and any other questions we had.

Dune and sunset tours impressed. Nice half day tour. Amazing food. Amazing rooms. Amazing location. Helpful transportation from town to the camp (we couldn't take our rental into the Sands). Freedom to walk up the dunes at night on your own (I went out for astrophotography).

Loved the sunset drive on the dunes.

Loved the sunset drive on the dunes. Dune bashing was fun and you can tell your driver what version of this you want - soft to fast ! Staff were friendly and accommodating. Make sure you book your seat at outdoor dining to avoid not getting a seat if the camp is full. Also book activities as soon as so you get your preferred time. Food was great - huge selection in the buffet and the musical entertainment was a great surprise !

The desert is very beautiful here. Despite the multitude of camps, it is not a problem to have a perfectly quiet and serene evening or morning walk among the dunes. If possible, aim for a moonless night to enjoy the full splendor of the night sky.

The resort is nice, I think there is a huge investment in the resort , although I think it will be better to train the staff to be more professional to deal with guests and certainly the restaurant is not up to the expectations especially regarding the menu and the the food served maybe the investment should include a new restaurant much better than the current one.

We had an excellent stay at the camp.

We had an excellent stay at the camp. It's a small and private camp, with a great view on the sand dunes. The tents are fully equipped and comfortable. All the people working at the camp were super friendly and helpful. They made sure everything was according to our expectations and beyond. We did a dune bashing activity, where we also watched the sunrise and took beautiful pictures. I also definitely recommend the camel ride to watch the sunrise! The dinner and breakfast was super delicious, and we enjoyed watching the stars around the campfire at night.
