Fabulous little three-star hotel that cannot be more central in Cusco! I had the fortune of staying on the 4th floor, which gave more than a 180° view of the city and surrounding mountains. There's also a little kitchenette with a table and chairs. The bed was very comfortable and the shower was amazing. The staff was super friendly and willing to help.

We stayed in a private room - the beds and pillows were amazing, sooo comfortable. We had our best sleeps through out our 16 day trip here. The location was great, very central. Close to the plazas and most recommended locations to eat. It had a good restaurant within the hostel and lots of extra room/couches available for after check-out.

We had a very relaxing stay- we had planned for one night, but extended it to two nights as we enjoyed the property so much The rooms/cabins are very large/ Nice bathrooms and beds with patios We ate all of our meals there and enjoyed all of them (I am vegetarian and liked all of my options/ my husband who is not vegetarian also equally enjoyed the meals) They have a few activities each day, we enjoyed a short hike and learned about the local community, plants and birds In the afternoon, they have a nice tea time with small snacks- For planning- it takes 1.5 hours from the airport/ plan a ride in advance- it is about $50 for a couple from Cusco The local area has a few popular tourist places to visit though we did not take advantage of these as we just enjoyed staying there The Sacred Valley was an adjustment in altitude for us (we are from Nebraska) and it was nice to acclimate there, before staying in Cusco and ultimately hiking the Salkantay trail.

The front desk are one of the sweetest people we have met- 24/7 and always happy to help/assist. We were greeted by Eylin who was prompt to get us checked in, and help us understand the vicinity of hotel and Cusco in general. After a small wait, we got our room ready for check in and our 2 nights stay was very pleasant as the hotel is centrally located in the San Blas neighbourhood. The hotel staff happily took care of our luggage when we checked out for our Inca trail and returned after 4 days. The bathroom had hot shower and although a bit on the smaller size, we didn't have a problem. When coming from the Cusco main square, there is a small flight of stairs to reach the hotel which we read in the reviews but we didn't find that a problem at all especially if you are planning your stay before Machu Pichhu/Rainbow mountain. Overall one of the best stays in a great location for a price that justified it.

The breakfast was delicious and elegant. The staff members in the hotel is nice and I feel so welcomed while studying. Especially thanks Saul who taught me how to make Pisco, it was a great experience. Thanks Freddy and Jefferson who show me round the hotel and explain clearly about the history and amenity of the hotel. Jefferson also recommended me some places to visit and restaurants to dine in Cusco. All the staff are amazing, definitely best memories during me trip in Peru.

Cusco is a must see!

Cusco is a must see! We came back after 20yrs and recommend to hurry and go cause unfortunately with progress comes the losing of the city character... Don't know what happen to this place but the amount of plastic rubbish and pollution is really sad, that aside is a beautiful place

Great small town on the way to Machu Picchu.

Great small town on the way to Machu Picchu. Plenty of hotels for every taste and budget. You could try to buy 1000 tickets to Machu Pichu from local Ministry of Culture. Every day they are selling 1000 extra tickets for next day. Whenever you arriving it's always good to check as Ministry is open until 22.00. Also you need to be in the cue 6.00 or earlier when you want to be sure for tickets.

Pisac is a great place to acclimatize if you are coming into the highlands from Lima or Amazon basin. It is charming small town with lots of historical interest. Archeological Pisak is well worth spending some time on. If you are looking to acclimatize to higher altitudes, Pisak is a better starting point that Cusco because the altitude is about 1500 ft lower and it is closer to Sacred Valley attractions.

Loved it! definitely worth the visit. We stayed two nights in Aguas Calientes. I wish I had stayed a door or two longer as the town is small but really lively and fun to be in. Also, we took a panoramic train from Cusco to Aguas Calientes and its definitely worth the experience. I will be journalling my experience, and provide tips in the near future on my blog so stay tuned: https://travelzbyu.blogspot.com/ For now, view pics and videos posted on my social media pages indicated on the link to my blog. - TravelsByU

Ollantaytambo is a gem of a town, my favorite so far of the Sacred Valley towns I have stayed in. The historic part of town feels like it must have felt with the Incas were living there in precolonial days. The streets are kept immaculately clean. Everything you might need is within short walking distance but does not intrude on the authenticity of the town. The views of the Inca ruins on all sides take you back in time. I would gladly go back for a longer stay. The constant flow of large tourist vans down the main street can be a bit annoying as they don't seem to belong, but you can avoid this. One great thing about Kamma Guest House is that it is not in the main stream.

The Pisac archeological park is very interesting and takes 2 - 4 hours to see. Take the taxi up to the site and consider walking down back to the townsite through the park to see additional ruins. Several good restaurants and coffee shops in Pisac. Easy to walk anywhere in town. Central plaza is a pleasant. Short drive from Cusco, could do as a day trip.
