- From $484 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 9.2Wonderful - What previous guests thought, 69 reviewsI recently had the pleasure of staying at Inkaterra La Casona Relais & Châteaux, and it truly exceeded all my expectations. From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed with warm hospitality, which set the tone for the entire stay. The hotel is a beautiful blend of colonial charm and modern comfort. The interior is tastefully decorated with rich history, showcasing the unique architecture of the historic house while offering all the luxurious amenities one could ask for. The attention to detail in every corner of the property made it feel like a serene sanctuary. Our room was not only spacious but also impeccably clean and comfortable. The bed was plush, and we were able to enjoy restful nights surrounded by peaceful surroundings. The bathrooms were equally impressive, featuring luxurious finishes and all the necessary amenities for a perfect stay. One of the highlights of our experience was the service. The staff at Inkaterra La Casona were exceptional—always attentive, friendly, and eager to ensure our stay was perfect. Whether it was arranging a tour, offering recommendations for local activities, or simply ensuring we had everything we needed, their hospitality made us feel truly valued. Additionally, the location of the hotel was perfect for exploring the stunning city of Cusco. We were able to easily visit the major sights, yet it was a peaceful retreat from the hustle and bustle when we returned. The food at the hotel’s restaurant was another standout. The dishes were expertly prepared, showcasing local ingredients with a contemporary twist. Dining at the hotel was a true culinary delight. Overall, Inkaterra La Casona Relais & Châteaux made our stay in Cusco unforgettable. It is a perfect blend of luxury, history, and exceptional service. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting the area andGuest review byYEChina
- From $159.71 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 9.3Wonderful - What previous guests thought, 269 reviewsThe front desk are one of the sweetest people we have met- 24/7 and always happy to help/assist. We were greeted by Eylin who was prompt to get us checked in, and help us understand the vicinity of hotel and Cusco in general. After a small wait, we got our room ready for check in and our 2 nights stay was very pleasant as the hotel is centrally located in the San Blas neighbourhood. The hotel staff happily took care of our luggage when we checked out for our Inca trail and returned after 4 days. The bathroom had hot shower and although a bit on the smaller size, we didn't have a problem. When coming from the Cusco main square, there is a small flight of stairs to reach the hotel which we read in the reviews but we didn't find that a problem at all especially if you are planning your stay before Machu Pichhu/Rainbow mountain. Overall one of the best stays in a great location for a price that justified it.Guest review bySaurabhUnited Kingdom

Cusco is a must see!
Cusco is a must see! We came back after 20yrs and recommend to hurry and go cause unfortunately with progress comes the losing of the city character... Don't know what happen to this place but the amount of plastic rubbish and pollution is really sad, that aside is a beautiful placeGuest review byTikiAustralia - 8.0
Great small town on the way to Machu Picchu.
Great small town on the way to Machu Picchu. Plenty of hotels for every taste and budget. You could try to buy 1000 tickets to Machu Pichu from local Ministry of Culture. Every day they are selling 1000 extra tickets for next day. Whenever you arriving it's always good to check as Ministry is open until 22.00. Also you need to be in the cue 6.00 or earlier when you want to be sure for tickets.Guest review byAleksanderEstonia - 10

Pisac is a great place to acclimatize if you are coming into the highlands from Lima or Amazon basin. It is charming small town with lots of historical interest. Archeological Pisak is well worth spending some time on. If you are looking to acclimatize to higher altitudes, Pisak is a better starting point that Cusco because the altitude is about 1500 ft lower and it is closer to Sacred Valley attractions.Guest review byAnandUnited States - 10

The historic centre is beautiful - lovely buildings everywhere and is great to just amble around and take a break in the Plazas. There are tons of restaurants to suit all budgets too. We only stayed for 2 nights but should’ve stayed for 4, seeing as there are so many trips you can go to from Cusco.Guest review byStevenUnited Kingdom - 10

Loved it! definitely worth the visit. We stayed two nights in Aguas Calientes. I wish I had stayed a door or two longer as the town is small but really lively and fun to be in. Also, we took a panoramic train from Cusco to Aguas Calientes and its definitely worth the experience. I will be journalling my experience, and provide tips in the near future on my blog so stay tuned: https://travelzbyu.blogspot.com/ For now, view pics and videos posted on my social media pages indicated on the link to my blog. - TravelsByUGuest review byUrvashiUnited States - 8.0

Ollantaytambo is a gem of a town, my favorite so far of the Sacred Valley towns I have stayed in. The historic part of town feels like it must have felt with the Incas were living there in precolonial days. The streets are kept immaculately clean. Everything you might need is within short walking distance but does not intrude on the authenticity of the town. The views of the Inca ruins on all sides take you back in time. I would gladly go back for a longer stay. The constant flow of large tourist vans down the main street can be a bit annoying as they don't seem to belong, but you can avoid this. One great thing about Kamma Guest House is that it is not in the main stream.Guest review byDavidUnited States - 10

Urabamba is a wonderful local feeling town with a nice square where you can find very good restaurants. There is a Saturday vendor market around the square and a big fresh market every day only a few blocks from the ,main square. Easy to navigate. I ate at Forty, Big A and Migas. All amazing food.Guest review byChristinaUnited States - 8.0

The Pisac archeological park is very interesting and takes 2 - 4 hours to see. Take the taxi up to the site and consider walking down back to the townsite through the park to see additional ruins. Several good restaurants and coffee shops in Pisac. Easy to walk anywhere in town. Central plaza is a pleasant. Short drive from Cusco, could do as a day trip.Guest review byROYCanada
