Follow my IG lawyer.traveler.dreamer for more details about our Moorea and Bora Bora trip. If you've got the impression that a Bora Bora escape requires shelling out around $2500 per night for a hotel, let me reassure you—it's not the case. Our five-night stay at Royal Bora Bora was a genuine delight. The place is impeccably clean, the rooms offer cozy comfort, and the lush interior garden adds a touch of tropical luxury. Conveniently situated right on the beach, next to the former Sofitel Bora Bora, we were welcomed at reception with a charming floral garland. They even handed us cards for a beach towel and snorkeling gear, sparing us the trouble of packing those essentials. We snagged a deal at $240 per night, inclusive of breakfast, thanks to a reservation on Booking. Plus, being right on the beach, Royal Bora Bora made our stay both affordable and incredibly enjoyable. It's proof that you can have a fantastic Bora Bora experience without breaking the bank. Also, the hotel is close to restaurants and the breathtaking Matira Public Beach. If you're feeling like indulging in a luxurious hotel experience, consider opting for a day pass at renowned establishments such as St. Regis, Intercontinental Thalasso, Intercontinental Le Moana, Four Seasons, and Le Bora Bora. Prices vary from $60 to $280 per person, offering a range of inclusions. Stay tuned for upcoming posts detailing the unique offerings at each. Follow me for more tips and tricks on exploring French Polynesia affordably. There's a world of possibilities beyond the misconception that paradise comes with an exorbitant price tag.

Everything! Truly an incredible, once in a lifetime experience! Akane was so attentive to our needs as were all of the staff. It was so nice to be able to take a golf cart to our events in the main part of the resort. The bungalow was out of this world. We loved all the incense and decided to take home a whole big bottle of the Coqui Coqui. The view was incredible, the fish were colorful and the experience was nothing short of inspiring. I can't recommend this place enough. My wife and I look back with tears of happy, happy joy.

Such a lovely experience here. Villa is directly across the street from Matira Beach, which is THEE highlight of the island! There are 2 sweet treat food trucks next to the beach, and the restaurant Snack Matira is a 5 minute walk from the Villa. ( yummy food!) Villa had everything: full kitchen, living room, dining room, porch area, 2 bedrooms, (air conditioning in one of the rooms) Lots of greenery & flower all around the property. I got lots of rest and peaceful time here. The host staff( Ms. Atea ) was very nice and helpful. Villa is about a 15 minute drive into town (Vaitape) Here you'll find the grocery store CHIN LEE'S. They have everything you'll need. Just remember, can't buy alcohol on SUNDAYS. In town there is the Polynesian market and other little shops for souvenirs, as well as the ferry dock, where you'll catch the boats back to the Bora Bora airport. Villa Bora Bora is also about a 10 minute ride to Bloody Mary's Restaurant, a must try on the island. Make your reservation w/ the restaurant, & they prove free shuttle to/ from the Villa. If you want a taste of what it's like to live here, hang amongst the locals, and beach bum it like a PRO, this is the place to stay! I highly recommend. Mauruuru for an amazing time Villa Bora Bora

I wanted to take a moment to express my sincere gratitude for the incredible experience we had during our two-night stay at your beautiful resort. From the moment we arrived, we were warmly welcomed by your friendly staff, who made us feel right at home. The bungalow was absolutely stunning – comfortable, stylish, and thoughtfully designed with every detail considered. The views of the lagoon and surrounding nature were simply breathtaking. It truly felt like a paradise retreat. We especially enjoyed the peaceful atmosphere and the sense of privacy, which made for a perfect escape from the hustle and bustle of daily life. The amenities were top-notch, and I appreciated the effort put into ensuring that every guest's needs were met. What truly stood out was the exceptional service from your team. Whether it was arranging a tour, recommending local activities, or just offering a warm smile, every interaction left me with a sense of being valued as a guest. The attention to detail was evident throughout my stay, and it made my time at Bora Bora Bungalove feel all the more special.

Tea was exceptional with response time she’s the absolute best, but it gets better you arrive and then you meet Joël and Tatiana which are the best if the best host!! Tea does her best to tell you how it’s going to be and it’s all true everything she tells you but it goes above and beyond that when you arrive. We can’t wait to come back, the facility is everything a soul needs to escape! It’s not you resort style stay so if you looking for that keep scrolling this is for the hippies and explorers at heart not saying you don’t get resort style accommodations you just don’t get the other folks around you!! I can’t thank the entire team enough seriously, I wired Tea months in advanced and was kinda scared doing so not going to lie….. but it was the best decision I’ve made to date for a stay out of the country and I WILL BE WIRING HER AGAIN!!!! Book this place if you want peace and tranquility with no one around except Tatiana and Joel and even then you can ask for them not to come over I guess, but that’s be a huge mistake!! mauruuru and manuia, Kayne Cunagin

Perfect location. A friend and I had adjacent over water bungalows and we made good use of the balconies every evening. We thoroughly enjoyed our time at Oa Oa Lodge. The staff and family were exceptionally friendly and helped us organize a day trip on the water. The Lodge is within easy walking distance of the main town where there are grocery stores, restaurants, car/moped rentals, shops, etc. We also enjoyed being able to jump into the sea every afternoon. Breakfast included a wonderful abundance of fresh fruit and breads. And I was shocked that we didn’t have any mosquitoes over the water so I was able to sleep with my door open to the sea every evening.

Hosts were very kind and helpful. Location was good, not a long walk to supermarkets and all you need in Vaitape. 30 min pretty scenic bike to Matira beach. Kitchen in the room had all the basics in terms of tools/cookware and the outdoor terrace was a great spot to have a coffee in the rain with a view. Really enjoyed our stay here!

Bora Bora is a slice of paradise.

Bora Bora is a slice of paradise. We rented a scooter for a day and saw the whole island. What was best was Rudolph at H2O was an amazing tour guide. Well worth the money. The waters are amazing colours and warm. Temperature perfect. People were nice and friendly. Had some great meals.

Our favourite place was on the lagoon.

Our favourite place was on the lagoon. We hired a pontoon boat and spent a day on the water, one of the best experiences was snorkelling, swimming and relaxing. It was great. Lots of different fish, coral gardens and many sea life. Water was crystal clear and vibrantly blues and greens. Views were endless. Swam at Matira Beach. Wish I could go back there. Restaurants were good and plentiful - we ate at Lucky House and Maitai Restaurants.

Going to Matira Beach is a must.

Going to Matira Beach is a must. Have a drink or sunset at the Bora Bora Beach Club that's right on the beach. Go on a boat tour to a Motu (an islet) and snorkeling (ask for DiDi the boat captain).
