With the rooms decorated with local art and with the gorgeous scenery of the rice fields right outside, I felt immersed in peace and nature.     El Nido has so many fun things to do, and we liked that while there were a plentitude of tourist options, we were not separated from local culture and activities that sometimes happens in other places. We were only there for four days, and we could have stayed another week. The beaches are beyond stunning, both the ones you can walk to and the ones that need a boat. The snorkeling was fantastic, the food options endless, and the vibe was chill and fun.

    Filthy squaller. Angeles City is horrible. Even walking street was hugely disappointing. Lots of closed bars, the bars i did go in were horrible. Women standing on stage, really looked like they didn't want to be tIhere. Just a horrible vibe. Makati is far superior to Angeles in every way possible. Dont waste your time going here. The SM mall which is close to the ABC hotel is very dangerous to get to . You have to try and cross about 4 very busy roads to get to it, no sky bridge, no subway to get there. Who ever designed the location was a moron, MAKE IT SAFE FOR PEDESTRIANS !

    The public market is the cleanest I have ever experienced in the Philippines and very large and comprehensive. Everyone knows about the weather, which is perfect. The city is scenic, clean and safe. Really rec. Burnham Park, Mines View park and Camp John Hay. Lots of other sites and great restaurants.

    The calamian group of islands of which Coron is part of, is beautiful. And I hope all the measures to keep it pristine and unlittered will be successful always. There are many breathtaking sights. You would need a sizable budget though to be able to enjoy the boat tours which are wonderful. If you have the time, visit Culion. It is historical (a UNESCO site), and while the places to see could do a little tidying up, nevertheless, the history of that place invites reflection and inspires--many heroic people lived on that island. Kudos to the religious who have kept the place going since it was first established. The Culion museum should be your first stop.

The slower pace and warm, genuine hospitality from the locals really give it that authentic "island life" vibe.     Manila is a great place. You have anything you want, Modern parts with stunning skyscrapers, world-class Malls and Restaurants. Original street food, historic buildings and most of all...friendly people. I only can recommend visiting - take time there at least 3 to 5 days
