- From $410.51 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 8.3Very Good - What previous guests thought, 631 reviewsFrom the start until the end, Club Paradise never disappoint us. Land & boat transfer was smooth, we were welcomed by Noel when we first landed and I can already feel the warmth throughout our journey to the island. Room: Our sunset villa was really nice. The room was nicely designed and we had surprise swan & crab deco in our room from time to time throughout our stay. The only thing that I can say which will else make our stay perfect is if in any of our 4 nights there, we were able to watch sunset from our room. But I know this is at no point was the resort's fault, as we were quite unlucky to check in just when typhoon passed so the weather was not really on our side. Meals: For resort level especially their location in secluded island, their meals were surprisingly affordable compared to other resorts. Meals were fulfilling but I really love their Ovaltine drink and couldn't get enough of it. Activities: We booked our Coron tour through resort, and I will say that this is the best tour that I've ever been to! For the price paid, we got boat and land transfer, in addition to private tour with a really helpful and knowledgeable guide. We also got freshly cooked lunch, and our guide even helped took pictures for us throughout the tour. 5 stars for the service! Other than that, the resort also offer free guided snorkerling around the island and we got to see 2 turtles during our morning snorkel. They also provide free kayak that you can use around the island. Service: I would like to express our gratitude towards everything that the resort staff did to ensure we had a really memorable stay. The kitchen team paid attention to our dietary restrictions and even prepared a separate meals so we can enjoy our dinner. I also remember that the hotel manager checked on us in the morning during breakfast to ensure our room was alright, and when I told them about the water pressure issue in the room, they sent someone to fix it right away.Guest review byNurshafiqahMalaysia
- From $932.52 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 9.5Exceptional - What previous guests thought, 110 reviewsThis place gives you an awesome experience, the location could not be any better, you are just next to the top attractions of el nido, but at the same time, you are on a very private place. The hotel includes complementary tours that cover most of what you would do on El Nido, and they are very easy to be arranged and mixed with the other plans you might have. The hotel is very well maintained, clean, the stuff is very friendly. The buffet for breakfast, lunch and dinner is very good, you get different type of foods every day, if you like seafood there will always be a lot of it fresh seafood too. The drinks are very good, and reasonable price. The snorkeling is a great experience, the snorkel kit they provide is good and you can spend many hours swimming around the hotel and finding great and unique fishes. It was a bit hard to plan my arrival, I suggest you contact the hotel at least 2-3 days before you arrive so they can pick you up, for the check out I was allowed to stay a bit more around the hotel and have lunch before going to the airport, unfortunately we had some problems with our flight but the hotel called me to help me and they were very helpful on that. Overall, a great experience for our honeymoon.Guest review byFranciscoChile
- Scored out of 10, guest rating 9.4Wonderful - What previous guests thought, 25 reviewsWE LOVED EVERYTHING ABOUT OUR STAY AT EL NIDO LAGEN ISLAND! it was so organized from the airport transportation to the boat- our guide Rowell was so accommodating and informative. Rowell also did an awesome job with our tours (by the way that the reaper includes as complementary- which consist of island hoping snorkeling and lagoons)making it so much fun! Approaching Lagen island is so breathtaking. Our stay was very comfortable, clean, Serene, the food was amazing! The staff from the front desk to the servers to the chef and the managers- everyone had exceptional customer service! Very down to earth staff and super friendly!! Our stay at Lagen Island will always be one of the most memorable ones.Guest review byIvetteGuam
- Scored out of 10, guest rating 8.1Very Good - What previous guests thought, 128 reviewsThe breakfast was really well prepared..much better than other breakfast included. The staff was awsome and in our first hour we found a tricycle driver that was more than helpful in showing us everything that Puerto Princesa had to offer. That then became our main mode of transportation,,the experience of seeing through a local was fantastic, and he also bragged about the hotel to us..Our only regret was not scheduling more time to visit the area,,,meaning we will be returning..Look for tricycle driver Ryan Rosales...highly recomended......Guest review byJohnUnited States

I really enjoyed town, but nacpan and duli area also nice places to stay! Lio is another nice spot to stay. Town is good if you like going out to eat, and see a lot of things But staying in lio, nacpan or duli is also nice if you want a more peaceful, quiet time. even sibaltan would be nice (check out the manta rays if you dive)Guest review byAnonymousPhilippines - 10

The calamian group of islands of which Coron is part of, is beautiful. And I hope all the measures to keep it pristine and unlittered will be successful always. There are many breathtaking sights. You would need a sizable budget though to be able to enjoy the boat tours which are wonderful. If you have the time, visit Culion. It is historical (a UNESCO site), and while the places to see could do a little tidying up, nevertheless, the history of that place invites reflection and inspires--many heroic people lived on that island. Kudos to the religious who have kept the place going since it was first established. The Culion museum should be your first stop.Guest review byGuiaPhilippines - 8.0

We didnt spend a lot of time in the Puerto itself sadly, given our resort was 90 minutes away but we made a couple of day trips and Puerto seems more relaxed & laid back than most cities in the Philippines with plenty of activities.Guest review byJulianQatar - 10
Absolutely!
Absolutely! San Vicente really flies under the radar compared to El Nido and Coron, but that’s part of its charm. It’s less crowded, more laid-back, and still boasts those stunning, unspoiled beaches—especially the 14-kilometer Long Beach, which feels like a hidden gem. The slower pace and warm, genuine hospitality from the locals really give it that authentic "island life" vibe. It’s perfect for people looking to relax, connect with nature, and avoid the more tourist-heavy scenes. Some even say it’s what El Nido felt like 10 or 15 years ago.Guest review bycesznadz39Philippines - 10
If you're looking for a beautiful tropical island to visit,...
If you're looking for a beautiful tropical island to visit, put this one on your list. It's relatively uncrowded, the people are very pleasant and the vistas are jaw dropping. If you are a diver, and have an interest in WWII, you will find an incredible 11 Japanese wrecks to dive. I'd recommend Pirate Divers, they are very professional and very conservative when it comes to evaluating risks. They also know the wrecks like their second home. Coron is a bustling town with good food and pleasant people, but the beauty of the island is the back country. I liked it enough in December that I'm returning in February. To get around, I'd suggest renting a scooter. If you are new to powered two wheel vehicles stay out of Coron, and pay attention to the roads, there are some surprisingly tight turns. Otherwise, since it is relatively uncrowded you should be fine.Guest review byJimUnited States - 10

Every day I walked from the hotel to Sabang wharf on the beach and on one day had coffee, adobo and itlog in a small cafe there. Everyone was very friendly, and I bought some Pasalubong, when they did not have my tee shirt size, they went to another shop to get it for me and to get change when I gave them 1000 peso note. I asked directions to the falls, but no one was exactly sure where it was or how long it would take to get there. The place was secure (police station at the wharf and coastguard and army regularly on patrol in the area. I eventually found the park that a friend recommended (5 km from the hotel) and had an excellent buffet lunch there twice and again they made Chester very welcome, the park was free and had some interesting, recycled artworks and a tribute to the devastation in the area by Typhoon Odette- well worth a visit. Also visit Buenavista viewpoint- the local community run it and you can get Buko juice, coffee, snacks and Pasalubong plus take great photos of the bayGuest review byNeil in BahrainPhilippines - 10

A delightful quiet backwater and so far less developed town. The beaches were beautiful and mostly clean. The town has plenty of activities to offer and places to eat. The whole place is walkable but you may want a Tuktuk or moped to visit further beaches.Guest review byAnnie EUnited Kingdom - 10

El Nido has so many fun things to do, and we liked that while there were a plentitude of tourist options, we were not separated from local culture and activities that sometimes happens in other places. We were only there for four days, and we could have stayed another week. The beaches are beyond stunning, both the ones you can walk to and the ones that need a boat. The snorkeling was fantastic, the food options endless, and the vibe was chill and fun.Guest review byMaryUnited States - 10

Rooms are spacious, big selection if breakfast, friendly hotel staff. Infinity pool is okay, could have a bit deeper though. The other pool is undergoing refurbishment. Island hoping are a must to do. We ate in the town where they served fresh sea food.I think its called Island boy Grill. Outside the hotel the tricycle ride are ideal to get round Coron town proper for merely 30 pesos.Guest review byAlma - 4.0
