Everything in the room was perfect! We also had access to the common chilling area, which contains a full kitchen that we could use. We extended our stay by 3 more nights in the same room. Much love to Erwen, who was very friendly and accomodating, and made sure we were very comfortable for the duration of our stay.

We had an amazing 7-day stay at Fat Lips Surf Lodge, even during the island-wide power outage. Despite the challenges, the entire crew went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable and enjoying every moment. The lodge is in an ideal location in Catangnan, just a short ride from Cloud 9 and General Luna, with a peaceful garden view surrounded by lush greenery. Tim was incredible, always checking in to ensure everything was okay. With a generator, running water, and fast Wi-Fi, we had everything we needed and never felt inconvenienced. Huge thanks to Kuya Julius, his wife, and the rest of the fantastic team for making us feel so at home. We also had the chance to meet Apple (Tim’s wife), who is so kind and cool. She even gave us some awesome Fat Lips merch to remember our trip! 🙈 And, of course, lil Stevie stole our hearts. We already miss that sweet little guy! 🥹❤️ P.S. You also get a 10% discount at their shop and on surfboard rentals, which was such a nice bonus. We’re already planning to come back next year — and this time, we’re staying for a whole month! The oceanfront cabins are just perfect. Beautiful, simple interior with attention to detail. A beachside patio with ample furniture, table, chairs, swing seat, long chair and hammock. Beautiful breeze and shade! Great place to relax and read a book. The staff, especially Lynn, is so kind and helpful. We had an incident with a sea urchin and she helped us procure a jug of vinegar and other items we needed to deal with the mishap. The cabin is located in front of the beginner surf break so easy access or good viewpoint to watch. The area has lots of really good places to eat within a 10 min walk. And bring water shoes!

Great place at all. It’s the only resort at the moment. It is very clean. They have some international and PHL breakfast. Coffee and tea are free during this time. They provide towels for the beach. Very friendly staff. Awesome beach with no one else! Paradise to stay!!

At first I kinda did not like the way going to the exact...

At first I kinda did not like the way going to the exact place, but when we found out the other way/easiest way, we felt relieved. The owner was very accommodating and also the in-charge cum reservation/receptionist, she was very kind and helpful, she had given us all the information regarding the places where we should go and enjoy. It was a very short stay but a worthy one, very affordable and family friendly homestay.

Burgos is a wonderful place to stay when visiting Siargao.

Burgos is a wonderful place to stay when visiting Siargao. It's a lot more peaceful than down south but there are beautiful and much les crowded places to explore. There's good 4G signal so you can stay connected but just travelling 15 minutes further north and you're totally off grid which is great. Easy to get to Secret Spot and Tangbo beach for surfing, Alegria beach for tanning and swimming, Tak Tak falls for cooling off in the heat, Kolekbibo, Lokal Hub and Izustarri for tasty food/drinks and lovely views!

Dapa was not our destination just a pass through.

Dapa was not our destination just a pass through. I stayed at Club Tara Near Sohoton Cove. The reason for the overnight stay in Dapa was because the PAL flight landed after the last ferry from Dapa to Socorro. Remember to research the ferry times for Dapa to Socorro. Do not pay P 5k from Dapa for a ferry. This is a scam. This review is from April 2022 and the area was hit with a typhoon in December 2021 and is opening back up after the pandemic.

General Luna is the most touristy part of Siargao.

General Luna is the most touristy part of Siargao. Lots of stores, shops, restaurants around. Easily walkable, but also accessible by tricycle/tuktuk. It's a bit too busy for me as I prefer more quiet and peaceful spot for accomodation. But if you prefer to party and have the convenience of everything being close by, then Gen Luna is a good spot for you.

I had a problem with the booking because Alexias hostel there are 2 units. One in El Nido and other in Siagao. When we booked to Siagao as a mistake but we stayed at El Nido unit. So I can talk about Alexias El Nido: You that read my review, should meet this place when you come to El Nido, even to take some beer or a te or a cofe in the sunset. The hostel is open to receive you just to chill with the view. The place is amazing! Need be discovered

Poor water pressure in the bathroom.

Poor water pressure in the bathroom. Air conditioning was not working. No extra fans available. Care taker not helpful. I had to book extra room to accommodate my group since the original room they gave us is too hot, aircondition not working, no fan and windows won’t close. I had to pay extra money for the inconvenience.
