I had the unforgettable opportunity to celebrate my birthday at a Michelin-starred restaurant, which made the experience even more special. The view from the property was stunning, the service was outstanding, and every detail exceeded my expectations. The pool area was beautifully designed and perfect for relaxing, and the massages were incredibly soothing and rejuvenating. Everything was top-notch. A truly exceptional place – I wholeheartedly recommend it!

    There was very little to NOT like about this resort and the staff. Truly surprising experience in a good way! The resort is small but beautiful. The room was very comfortable. Both pools (indoor and outdoor) were very nice. Steam room was a wonderful treat, as was the sauna. Food was great! We had normal expectations and were blown away by the uniqueness of this place. Staff were all lovely and very accommodating.

    Absolutely everything was brilliant, the staff are amazing, could not be more helpful. The whole experience was just fantastic. The Yeatman has just become my favourite hotel ever. The food was superb, service was marvelous. I cannot praise the hotel quality, staff and facilities highly enough. We will be returning again before Christmas. I so recommend this hotel to everyone, an experience not to be missed.

    I loved the city and exploring the narrow steep streets. The architecture was amazing. The river trip to the 6 bridges allowed you to see the city from a different perspective. A walk across the bridge to Vila Nova de Gaia is a must, sunset here is superb. So many churches to visit with the beautiful azulejos tiles. Many gorgeous viewpoints around the city. 3 days wasn’t enough!

    We visited during the Sao Joao festival and although extremely crowded- one of the most magical nights I've ever experienced. Such a beautiful sight to see, thousands of floating lanterns throughout the nights sky and a unbeatable fireworks show at midnight!

    Not much to do, in my opinion there are much nicer places to visit. Nicer beaches with warmer water. Parking is a huge problem and the locals do not like even trying to communicate in English. I guess it depends what you like. Would definately rather visit Al Garve.

    Vila do Conde is a charming town that is a far cry from the hustle and bustle of a large city, if that is what you are used to, or looking to get away from. There are many good restaurants in the area. We hired a car for the duration of our stay as we wanted to travel further afield whilst adding stops along the way and choosing the most scenic routes.

    The location was very close to the beach. It was a bit noisy in the evenings because restaurants and nightlife were literally right outside the door. Leca has a beautiful long beach and a variety of restaurants including one 2-Michelin star restaurant.

    I had returned from a holiday in the UK and needed to stay...

    I had returned from a holiday in the UK and needed to stay near the airport as it was a night time arrival. The suites are just a 5 minute walk from the airport, and also very close to a metro station for getting into Porto. I stayed in a different apartment the night before my trip, however, I wish I had known about these suites as I would also have stayed here the night before my outward journey. Conveniently located is an excellent, traditional Portuguese restaurant just along the street. Big portions, friendly staff - some speak English - and very inexpensive. The rooms are more than what you need, and the shared kitchen area with complementary breakfast are an added bonus. It is also possible to cook in the kitchen as there is a cooker and fridge. A great place to stay.

    We have absolutely fallen in love with Mindelo, not touristy at all, has a rustic charm, the coastline is stunning, a place to explore, relax and recharge....the food/restaurants in the area are affordable and delicious! The fish and seafood and local dishes alone are a reason to keep coming back....
