An apartment in an old communist-era block. It’s refurbished, but it’s also what that sounds like. That aspect alone is somewhat interesting. The owners are very friendly and accommodating. The room and bathroom were clean. At the moment, there are not many places to stay in Targoviste, so this served its purpose. The location is about a 20 minute walk from the center of Targoviste, which is a bit far but that was known before hand.

Great location, right in the old town. Upon exiting the building you have access to all the restaurants in the old town and a few grocery stores, including one in the same building (Mega Image). The location doesn't get better than this. The only draw back is that the apartment is located on the 4th floor with no elevator in the building. The plus to it is that the design of the apartment is beautiful and that it has 2 bedrooms, super convenient for families. Overall a great option to stay in.
