Never mind it looks like and decorated like a French palace, it is fantastically comfortable and clean and convenient. The bed was so comfortable. The shower was endless hot water and with nice products provided and towels were very plushie and new. Breakfast was amazing. The location is huge and tons of choices. Two of our morning the occupancy was conducive to have a buffet and one morning only being one of three rooms we had “made to ordered “. Both there were plenty of choices and excellent quality. Had great coffee and tea choices. The staff is so friendly and knowledgeable it was a real treat to be able to talk with them. Elevator was always waiting for us…loved that! We read a previous review on this hotel that said it was kichy and furniture was not of good quality, we could not disagree more. We are very satisfied with the hotel, especially the employees that work at reception. They were very nice and helpful all the time. Also the waiter that works at the breakfast room. The hotel is located right in the Citi center, 2-3 min walk to the square where are all the coffee bars, restaurant and nearby Danube park. The Petrovaradin fortress is around 10-15min walk. The hotel has it's own parking space but it's limited so if you are coming with car, reserve a spot. There is no free parking in the nearby streets. The room was clean and enormous, beds were very comfortable, and the bathroom was clean with all necessities inside. Sheets were changed on a daily basis, also the towels. It's a nice city, but unfortunately almost every adult...
It's a nice city, but unfortunately almost every adult smokes and most cafes don't enforce a non-smoking policy. I unfortunately stayed in the centre of Stari Grad where all the loud bars and clubs are and there is no real legal policy on noise pollution. I honestly don't know how people live here full time. Due to this, I had to stay in a lot of other places on the weekends (+ I also visited Belgrade on occassion). This meant I could (hopefully) get some quality sleep. But having said this, I didn't get to fully explore the city and all it has to offer but the main area of Stari Grad is very nice culturally and a nice place to walk. I also think the river should be more accessible with nice paths alongside it. It's either a main stretch of busy road or once you hit a certain place it's blocked off and you have to pay the beach venue to access it which is a shame.Guest review byTomUnited Kingdom - 10.0

Subotica is a beautiful city with stunning architecture and lots of greenery. The fountains and parks make it even more charming. Restaurants are affordable and the food is incredibly tasty. Palić is a beautiful and peaceful place next to the lake. It is convenient for the walk, jogging or maybe light cycling. There are few restaurants around, but not much else of some other content. Novi Sad comes alive at night, lots of bars, restaurants etc. We were lucky and arrived when there was live music at the fortress (free) and the once a month night market ( first Friday of the month, 6-12) where we sampled lots of local homemade produce. The city of Sombor has lots of historical buildings. You can take a walk and find friendly places to drink coffee or beer and later take one of famous restoration to eat (at 2024 they have four listed on Gault & Millau).
