SerbiaThe host was superb. He waited for me in front of the building to give me the full tour of the apartment and was super helpful with some pieces of advice. The apartment was very warm and comfortable. The view from the balcony was great as you have a direct view of the river.

Pirot is a small town so you can make the most of your stay by walking around and sight seeing, we specifically went to Vlasi village which has beautiful mountains and a small river, the perfect escape from your hectic city life into a quite serene nature haven. Pirot and it's surroundings offer so much. Waterfalls, lakes, hiking. The town itself can be explored in a couple of days, worth it. However, you might find there is insufficient information and must rely on navigation. Otherwise, food is good and 20% cheaper than in Belgrade.
