The breakfast was delicious, actually more than we could eat, she insisted to make some sandwiches with the leftovers and take them with us on the trails. Overall it was a great experience and we're looking forward to seeing her again.

NetherlandsThe property is right beside the road infront of a supermarket and atm and has lots of parking spot( private as well as public). Host Sonja and Ziva were very helpful and welcoming. The room was big and had comfortable beds with air conditioning and fridge and coffee.The breakfast was delicious and homemade bread, cheese and jams were very refreshing.
The place has lots of wooden carvings which is quite aesthetic.

The staff is great, room clean, beds comfortable (one comment though about pillows - too soft but not a real problem), the food is very good and the vibe is cosy and relaxing :) We had the possibility to rent bikes (normal or electrical) and there is also a EV charging station at the location (which was a blessing for us traveling with an EV car). The location is pet friendly and we had a good stay with our dog :). Trips are at hand from the location: a circuit of the Logar Valley (around 3-4h walking or less with the bikes), some beautiful waterfalls and the teal colour of the rivers always along your path. The house is in a perfect location, there's no traffic, there's almost no tourism around, no crowds, no noise. We wanted to relax and disconnect from the everydays and the pressure of the ever-flowing news and information, and we could exactly do that here - no cell phone reception, no internet, just nature, birdsong and fresh air. The apartment itself is very pretty, very clean and comfortable. The kitchen had all that is needed for simple cooking. The views from the windows are lovely. An excellent location for outdoor activities, especially hiking and cycling. The nature here is really beautiful and we visited this region several times. It also has several really nice restaurants with local specialties and organic food. This time we cycled to Pavličevo sedlo and along the panoramic road and went on a hike towards Matkov škaf. Last time we hiked to ancient cave Potočka zijalka and Ostrica mountain. We ate at the Majerhold mountain lodge below Pavličev sedlo, at the Žibovt farm by the panoramic road, and at the Ojstrica restaurant in the Logarska dolina. Everyone is very friendly. Solcava was a beautiful village, very close to Logar Valley.
Solcava was a beautiful village, very close to Logar Valley. The views are spectacular! The air is so fresh and crisp. It is very soothing for the soul. We hiked to Slap Rinka and drove the Panoramic Road. We would have liked to have more time for hiking and exploring. The only downside would be lack of restaurants. We were there in May, so I'm not sure if there may be more options in high season but we had a difficult time finding a place for dinner. The place we ended up was in Luce, Gostlina PR Lampi. The food was very good traditional Slovenian food and excellent wine. Our waiter had a wonderful personality and was a joy to visit with.Guest review byElaineUnited States
