My husband and I went to koh Phangan to experience the full moon party but didn’t want to stay in it so this hotel was perfect as it was a short drive on a Moto from the festivities. Jodi the owner was super helpful in getting us checked in even though it was late. The resort is as beautiful- right on the beach and just quiet enough. The sat pool party was also very fun. Would definitely recommend!

A Slice of Paradise! I had an incredible experience! The people were warm and welcoming, making it easy to connect with others. The beach is beautiful, providing the perfect spot to relax.     What a beautiful and amazing resort. 1 night felt too short. We booked the room with outdoor jacuzzi and sea view and it was the most beautiful room with the most beautiful bathroom I ever ever stayed at. Service was flawless. Must mention, the by the sea restaurant staff and mr. Kabir from reception. They were exceptional. Buffet breakfast was fantastic. The resort had the best pool ever. Nearby village was super cute. Both the resort beach and village beach was beautiful. The food quality at by the sea restaurant can improve but the set up, live music and courteous staff made up for it. Overall, very romantic. One must stay few nights to experience fully. Its quite a large property.

    Buri Rasa has the friendlest staff we have ever met in all our trips to Thailand especially Koi at reception. Really helpful from reception staff to the dining room staff. There were staff constantly cleaning the public areas and the whole place is spotless. Location is excellent right onto the beach with lots of sunbeds and shades. The pool is a bit small but perfect for a cool off when coming off the beach. There is a small village beside the hotel with enough restaurants to chose from for dinner,coffee etc. Breakfast in the hotel is excellent and also dinner. Lovely setting looking onto the beach.

    We´d enjoyed our stay at Sunflower Bungalows very much. The resort is on the beach, with great Heaven bar, nice restaurant and nice pool, which was big enough for swimming and jumping into the water. Amazing staff, super nice! Beautiful sunsets just few steps from our Deluxe cottage right on the beach. Great barbecue and live music every monday and friday. Shop 7/11 is very close, also massages, rental of motorbike, everything just few steps from resort. We would love to come back again. Hopefully soon!

    The place is like a huge hill, you go up in a preety steep (but not too much) road, leading you thru the beautiful accomodations and up thru the resto/reception/pool view point to the ocean, sunset, etc. The owner is very hands on and helpful, the team is super nice, room was super spacious with a huge balcony and the value for money is 10/10. But the real highlight was the restaurant, sooooo good! Thank you guys I had a great time and a soft landing.

    Seetanu is a little paradise. We had a bungalow on the beach and it was absolutely stunnjng. It is a quiet beach and it has a peaceful vibe. the room looked like it was just renovated and the bed was good! The staff was very friendly and it has a good restaurant. I would defenitly recommemd it.

    Not the nicest part of island.

    Not the nicest part of island. Geared towards full moon party, laughing gas and fire shows. Quiet when not full moon in a nice way but the town is run down. Haad Rin beach is beautiful though. Saw quite a few families which was nice. Rented our bike from here and explored the island for a few days. Road between Haad Rin and Thong Sala and everywhere else on the East/West of the island is very steep hills to ride by bike.

    I choose to stay in Bann Tai for its central location. There are much nicer locations on the island to stay, however if you are like me, and like to explore, then this location is best as its in the middle of the coast line, and its close to central heart road ways that take you to any part of the island quickly.

    Amazing place on the island.

    Amazing place on the island. Lots of cafe's, restaurants and more. Nothing is too far really, jump on the bike and go 15min to another spot, be very careful in the corners when riding your bike......lots of people get a "Koh Phangan" tattoo there meaning they crash and the scars. Sand in corners means, slow down!!! I recommend Papaya Massage for great Thai and oil massage. Enjoy a great beautiful Phangan.

    Lovely area on Koh Phangan.

    Lovely area on Koh Phangan. Many local and also westernised food places (Ann's and Shish Kebab were our favourites!), shops and of course pristine beaches. Worth hiring a scooter to explore around and enjoy the island vibes.

    Aside from the turquoise water, there is a reef just a few yards from the shore where you can snorkel and see beautiful fish, big clams, and coral. Although much of the coral is bleached and dead, there's enough living coral there for adults and kids to enjoy. Since the water is shallow, it's safe to walk all the way out where it gets a little deeper for better snorkeling. The beach is a white sand beach, but we recommend swim shoes which are available at a little grocery store, along with snorkel masks. Many beachside restaurants to choose from. Although there is no public shower, some restaurants have an outdoor shower available.

    I was in haad rin beach, it pretty much is a village. A nice one, but no sidewalks, everything is cheap, a bit dirty. Compared to Phuket it really is a small village. But the full moon party was amazing, so much fun! So it definitely was worth it!

    Location - it was like a dream.

    Location - it was like a dream. And they had a broom right outside our door so when the inevitable sand was tracked into our room, we could clean it up. We never ate in the restaurant so I can't say how it was, but the other options nearby were excellent. If you're staying longer than 3 nights and want to see more than just the hotel and its surroundings, you'll want to rent a scooter.

    I was expecting Haad Rin to be more crowded, dirty, and over touristy. But it wasn't! Yes, there are plenty of shops and bars and the streets are a little lively, but the beach itself is spacious, clean, and so relaxing. We aren't partiers and we had a fantastic stay in this area.
