I have checked in at Ozone Cave Hotel and found it to be an interestingly designed hotel where you can experience staying close to nature, with beautiful rock formations. The room has high ceilings, almost 4 meters tall, which gives it a luxurious feel.

Most importantly the friendliness and easy going vibe of the couple who owns and run the place. I personally enjoy having contact with people who feel real instead of an over zealous staff. You can rent a bike next door which makes it really easy upon departure when you have to return the bike.

The place is just simply amazing, and Mr. Ping is an exceptional host. This was the best place we ever stayed in and we will definitely be back. The house and surroundings are clean, the pool is really nice and the whole complex is in a quiet area. I recommend it to anyone.

La Plage was an amazing stay for us! The pool was perfect, the view was amazing, the whole outdoor area was so nice for a tropical getaway. The food and drinks were delicious every time we ordered there, and we ordered a lot! Staff was so helpful as well, from helping us rent a scooter or doing laundry or anything else we might need!

Stayed here during the full moon party and it was a bit of a gamble as this place had just 2 reviews. But after checking the negative reviews of nearby apartments I rolled the dice and picked this one. I am so glad I did. The host is wonderful and the location amazing. The place is very new and I think we were one of the first guests. It also comes with a 10% discount to the Italian restaurant next door where we could satisfy our craving for good lasagna. Highly recommend this place.

    We got dropped off at the wrong side of the hotel by the taxi from pier so we had to walk all through the rocks and wires from the beach, it was a bit crazy getting there and funny thinking back. Upon arriving the staff greeted us warmly, very friendly and delightful as well as attentive. Loved our room which had a private pool, the wooden style is very nice. They occasionally cleaned the room for mosquito’s which we appreciate a lot. My muay thai lessons were very nice, trainer was very helpful and I learned a lot. We got a spa day on our last day, which were amazing, we had a massage and bodu scrub. Everything went smoothly thanks to the great staff who gave us such warm smiles. I get why they call Thailand the land of smiles now!

    We stayed here for two weeks in June and enjoyed it very much. Every single employee was super friendly and accommodating and we felt that the staff really did everything to give us a good time there. The breakfast buffet was fresh and tasty, the views from the restaurant and from our terrace were amazing and the pools were clean and well maintained. Our room was also very clean and spacious with a decent A/C. There are quite a few delicious restaurants in walking distance, which are not too pricey. Overall we would love to come back to this resort and can very much recommend it. A big thank you again to all the staff!

    Wonderful accommodation: spacious and clean with amazing showers and lovely balcony/verandah space. The grounds were well kept. The swimming pool was huge and catered for all! Lovely beach side restaurant with attentive service. And then there was the beach; quite simply it was idyllic! The sand was beautiful, the sea clean and blue and sparkling. At reception Rico is an amazing advocate for your company. He was pleasant and kind and helpful and very hard working. He deserves a bonus and or promotion.

    We loved EVERYTHING about this property! I am grateful to be able to share that it had been recommended for our elopement and did not disappoint. The rooms were picturesque from the heaven suite to the penthouse we felt like royalty. It is literally RIGHT on the beach and feels cozy and private. The staff went above and beyond, the food was excellent, and overall the hospitality was incredibly memorable! Love love love this property and will be back!

    Not the nicest part of island.

    Not the nicest part of island. Geared towards full moon party, laughing gas and fire shows. Quiet when not full moon in a nice way but the town is run down. Haad Rin beach is beautiful though. Saw quite a few families which was nice. Rented our bike from here and explored the island for a few days. Road between Haad Rin and Thong Sala and everywhere else on the East/West of the island is very steep hills to ride by bike.

    I choose to stay in Bann Tai for its central location. There are much nicer locations on the island to stay, however if you are like me, and like to explore, then this location is best as its in the middle of the coast line, and its close to central heart road ways that take you to any part of the island quickly.

    Amazing place on the island.

    Amazing place on the island. Lots of cafe's, restaurants and more. Nothing is too far really, jump on the bike and go 15min to another spot, be very careful in the corners when riding your bike......lots of people get a "Koh Phangan" tattoo there meaning they crash and the scars. Sand in corners means, slow down!!! I recommend Papaya Massage for great Thai and oil massage. Enjoy a great beautiful Phangan.

    Lovely area on Koh Phangan. Many local and also westernised food places (Ann's and Shish Kebab were our favourites!), shops and of course pristine beaches. Worth hiring a scooter to explore around and enjoy the island vibes.

    Great location , lovely village great restaurants, not over crowded , family friendly. We ate in many local restaurants , the food was superb and very reasonably . Good variety of shops and supermarkets , we didn't travel outside the resort as didn't need to but plenty of taxis if needed

    Aside from the turquoise water, there is a reef just a few yards from the shore where you can snorkel and see beautiful fish, big clams, and coral. Although much of the coral is bleached and dead, there's enough living coral there for adults and kids to enjoy. Since the water is shallow, it's safe to walk all the way out where it gets a little deeper for better snorkeling. The beach is a white sand beach, but we recommend swim shoes which are available at a little grocery store, along with snorkel masks. Many beachside restaurants to choose from. Although there is no public shower, some restaurants have an outdoor shower available.

    I was in haad rin beach, it pretty much is a village. A nice one, but no sidewalks, everything is cheap, a bit dirty. Compared to Phuket it really is a small village. But the full moon party was amazing, so much fun! So it definitely was worth it!

    Location - it was like a dream. And they had a broom right outside our door so when the inevitable sand was tracked into our room, we could clean it up. We never ate in the restaurant so I can't say how it was, but the other options nearby were excellent. If you're staying longer than 3 nights and want to see more than just the hotel and its surroundings, you'll want to rent a scooter.

    I was expecting Haad Rin to be more crowded, dirty, and over touristy. But it wasn't! Yes, there are plenty of shops and bars and the streets are a little lively, but the beach itself is spacious, clean, and so relaxing. We aren't partiers and we had a fantastic stay in this area.
