I loved everything about my stay here. The vibe is super peaceful and the staff are genuinely kind and welcoming — you can feel they really care. My room was clean and cozy, with a beautiful sea view that made waking up each morning so special. The location is perfect — literally right by the beach. I could walk barefoot for sunset every evening, and it honestly felt like a little slice of paradise. For the price, it’s incredible value. On top of that, I was gifted a free morning yoga class, which was such a beautiful surprise. The class was deeply grounding and set the tone for the whole day. Hard to critic a place where it rained almost constantly for 3-4 days. Wondered what rainy season looks like there. But saying that a good location, comfortable bungalows. Great staff. Very helpful. Very good kitchen I would say. Not inexpensive or their Belgian beers. But a good wine list to go with the food. Nice to have a beach steps away from your bungalow. If you want to go somewhere that is more western than local this is your place. Via email arranged my scooter. Plenty of alternative restaurants close by in the town. I could see returning if I make it back to Thailand.

They have a vegan menu! They don't mention that anywhere so this was a great surprise. The place is amazing and everything about our stay was absolutely great: friendly and helpful staff, comfy room, super clean and beautiful pool, awesome bar/restaurant by the beach with great food. It was hard to say goodbye. Another thing that wasn't clear to us before we arrived: you can easily reach the beach from the bungalows. You basically walk less than a minute until you reach the bar, which is by the beach. It's great!

Location, size of the room, aircon AND a fan, convenient little balcony for smoking, walking distance to the beach, quiet location, pool in the resort. While the entrance to the resort is on the main road, the rooms face out into a private alley belonging to the resort, the walls and close knit buildings serve to block a lot of noise from the beach and the main road, we had a room located closest to the street yet we slept very peacefully and with zero disturbance

Amazing property, exceptional views - almost no need to go to viewpoints because it’s so nice hear. Great pool overlooking the ocean. Houses are very nice for a family, everything was clean and super comfy and modern. Restaurant was beautiful and tasteful. You can rent scooters at the property. The neighborhood is nice, especially the close by ones which you reach with the scooter. More relaxed, chilled and covered by nature, not like in the south.

Really nice place on the beach. room was cozy and nice. got a fridge and a safe. but the best thing is the view of the beach. the restaurant was great and the staff of the hotel was very nice and kept the place clean and tidy . it's worth mentioning that the hotel is in a quiet part of the island. so if you're looking for a chill stay on the beach, far from all the noise, that's the place for you. the sunset was amazing!

Not the nicest part of island.

Not the nicest part of island. Geared towards full moon party, laughing gas and fire shows. Quiet when not full moon in a nice way but the town is run down. Haad Rin beach is beautiful though. Saw quite a few families which was nice. Rented our bike from here and explored the island for a few days. Road between Haad Rin and Thong Sala and everywhere else on the East/West of the island is very steep hills to ride by bike.

I choose to stay in Bann Tai for its central location.

I choose to stay in Bann Tai for its central location. There are much nicer locations on the island to stay, however if you are like me, and like to explore, then this location is best as its in the middle of the coast line, and its close to central heart road ways that take you to any part of the island quickly.

Lovely area on Koh Phangan. Many local and also westernised food places (Ann's and Shish Kebab were our favourites!), shops and of course pristine beaches. Worth hiring a scooter to explore around and enjoy the island vibes.

Great location , lovely village great restaurants, not over crowded , family friendly. We ate in many local restaurants , the food was superb and very reasonably . Good variety of shops and supermarkets , we didn't travel outside the resort as didn't need to but plenty of taxis if needed

Amazing place on the island.

Amazing place on the island. Lots of cafe's, restaurants and more. Nothing is too far really, jump on the bike and go 15min to another spot, be very careful in the corners when riding your bike......lots of people get a "Koh Phangan" tattoo there meaning they crash and the scars. Sand in corners means, slow down!!! I recommend Papaya Massage for great Thai and oil massage. Enjoy a great beautiful Phangan.

Aside from the turquoise water, there is a reef just a few yards from the shore where you can snorkel and see beautiful fish, big clams, and coral. Although much of the coral is bleached and dead, there's enough living coral there for adults and kids to enjoy. Since the water is shallow, it's safe to walk all the way out where it gets a little deeper for better snorkeling. The beach is a white sand beach, but we recommend swim shoes which are available at a little grocery store, along with snorkel masks. Many beachside restaurants to choose from. Although there is no public shower, some restaurants have an outdoor shower available.

I was in haad rin beach, it pretty much is a village. A nice one, but no sidewalks, everything is cheap, a bit dirty. Compared to Phuket it really is a small village. But the full moon party was amazing, so much fun! So it definitely was worth it!

Location - it was like a dream.

Location - it was like a dream. And they had a broom right outside our door so when the inevitable sand was tracked into our room, we could clean it up. We never ate in the restaurant so I can't say how it was, but the other options nearby were excellent. If you're staying longer than 3 nights and want to see more than just the hotel and its surroundings, you'll want to rent a scooter.

I was expecting Haad Rin to be more crowded, dirty, and over...

I was expecting Haad Rin to be more crowded, dirty, and over touristy. But it wasn't! Yes, there are plenty of shops and bars and the streets are a little lively, but the beach itself is spacious, clean, and so relaxing. We aren't partiers and we had a fantastic stay in this area.
