Clean and quiet. Simple rooms but they have everything you need. Staff are super kind and helpful.

I stayed here 2 nights. My private room was inexpensive, had A/C and the room and bed were big and comfortable. The woman (Mama) who runs the place is very generous, thoughtful and kind. She only speaks Thai and I only speak English but we had no problems communicating. Her son also came by (he speaks both languages); They are a delightful family..quiet, friendly, respectful. This homestay location is out of the way, so you need to rent motorbike or taxi to get around (though I chose to walk).

I had a wonderful, inexpensive bungalow that included free breakfast and had a direct sea view and was less than a minute walk to the warm, calm sea with a mile+ long, clean beach that had about 3 people on it, even though it was December holiday week. Completely relaxing and laid back, not a party scene at all, except for the quiet, peaceful and respectful kind! And great Thai massage at the resort, too, where all you hear is the gentle lapping of the nearby waves.

Libong Beach Resort is a 10-minute drive to Baan Prao pier. Offering free Wi-Fi in public areas, the hotel also provides free private parking on site.

Facilities are broadly in line with the cheap price - basic but functional. There are 2 exceptions - the location on a very attractive beachfront is 5 star. But unfortunately it's zero stars for the beds. It feels just like a sheet has been thrown over a slab of concrete. Still, you can doze on a beautiful beach to make up for the lost sleep. The island itself is very unspoilt and tranquil. And the islanders are incredibly friendly and welcoming.
