Spain- the lovely lady and her brother are the sweetest people you can meet. She would do the best and beyond to make you have a pleasant stay. And only with her smile she will illuminates your day.
- the rooms are simple but very clean. the bed is comfortable, AC works well, there is hot water
- location is 2 minutes from a beautiful beach, and surrounded by restaurants and mini shops. You can rent a moto there or next door if you want to, though the island is so small that you can also walk around or rent a bicycle (it is mainly flat).
- the breakfast is absolutely fantastic. I still don't know how she makes something different but tasty and beautiful to look at every morning! Best breakfast in Thailand, for sure.
- the hostal is very quiet, overall the tourists in Koh Mak were very chill (couples and families), and it was a peaceful and relaxing atmosphere (no party, no smoking everywhere, no traffic,...)
- the cleanliness of the hotel is impeccable. They are cleaning all day and making you feel at home
- We will never forget the attention we received here and we are very thankful for this beautiful stay.

I highly recommend staying at this hotel if you are in Koh Mak. Our room was unique and offered a lot of privacy. We even tanned naked on the terrace on the second floor. The hotel offers yoga classes led by a yoga teacher from Belgium who has been living here for 8 years. It was an incredible experience. During our 3-day stay, I was able to have a private lesson with her and participate in two group activities. We also had a 2-hour workshop where we released a lot of emotions and had a great time.

United KingdomThe location is unreal! It’s totally away from the huddle and bustle, perfect for us and wanting to be in a tranquil escape. It was so peaceful listening to the waves and birds at night and mornings. It’s a small complex so always plenty of deck chairs and places to sit and not many guests. Feels like a prefect private place to have a break. The owners are so passionate about giving you a perfect stay. They collected us from the pier and dropped us off. When we arrived we had a fresh coconut and mango sticky rice. Our room was very large, great working new air con too. Shower was powerful and hot. They went above and beyond more times than we could count we extended our stay once there as it was so perfect. From free coffee, breakfast, free kayaks, they arranged scooters for us and helmets too, advised us places to go. It was just so perfect! We will definitely be back. After all that and more they even gave us a small gift as we left. Thank you

The rooms & balcony were a good size. The balcony had a view over the beautiful gardens. The hot water shower and AC worked well, and there was a decent size fridge to keep our drinks cold. We were collected from the pier on arrival in a cute electric golf cart - bonus points for being green! The staff Mr Peak and Lek were friendly and helpful. We rented a cute scoopy scooter from Mr Peak for 200 baht /day in very good condition (hope in future there might be an affordable electric option too, better for the environment). It was nice that they had such beautiful grounds to walk about in and a swimming pool. We loved musing at the interesting & unique character of each of their other buildings scattered about the complex gardens. Daily housekeeping was available on request, as well as change of linens. We could also get water refills at reception , and buy an espresso for 35 baht (comes with a biscuit). The Wi-Fi worked well, great for remote working. there are comfortable chairs and tables to use, and a decent size wardrobe with a sufficient amount of hangers. Koh Mak is quite small but beautiful and has a lot of nature. Good kick-boxing school. Variety of good eating places Koh Mak seafood being one of them. It is far more relaxed than Koh Chang with less to do but I actually found the peacefulness and serenity more alluring. The people are friendly and it has a up early sleep when the sunsets kind of vibe but also if you want to be out later you can. There are some very picturesque beaches and bars. Also a variety of takes on food By the sea has great sandwiches etc. If the weather turns bad then this is when the boredom may be an issue. However I loved the thunderstorms and lightening shows. After researching on Google satellite I was pleasantly surprised when we arrived. Much lusher and more tourist-friendly than I expected. Though it's a small island, there's enough there to explore more than we could in 3 nights. And it is the ideal launching site to visit the famous diving and snorkeling sites around Koh Rang island. Very small island which is still kind of rural and not very touristy. That also means that there are not many amenities or fun things you can do. Accommodations are more basic, food or bar options are limited, and you've seen all of the island in a few hours. But you can also have a perfect chill time without any noisy tourist crowds or big loud party areas. Beaches are great.
