- From US$137.99 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 9.3Superb - What previous guests thought, 904 reviewsThe hotel is very good, small, so cozy. For breakfast you can choose 5-6 dishes from the menu, for example, something like full English, spring roll, pancakes, etc. There are also cereals, yogurt, croissants, jams, etc. You can take extra vegetables and fruits. Good coffee. I really liked the opportunity to go swimming right from the villa, literally a few steps. But I recommend taking swimming shoes, because there are stones. The beach is quiet, peaceful, if you want more people, you have to walk 15-20 minutes to the main street.Guest review byLeldeLatvia
- From US$55.64 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 7.8Good - What previous guests thought, 226 reviewsGreen View Resort is a very beautiful and peaceful place run by a friendly and welcoming family. The view is really wonderful and the restaurant serves a variety of delicious Thai dishes and fruit shakes at affordable prices. The bungalows are basic and very clean. The beach is best for swimming when the tide is high, but the rest of the island is easily accessible with scooters for rent at a good price. This is a place I hope to come back to!Guest review byImislundNorway
- Scored out of 10, guest rating 7.9Good - What previous guests thought, 112 reviewsBeautiful view from the terrace and swimming pool. Resort is located on a hill and very, very quiet. Close to the "center" of restaurants and shops. Islanda staff is absolutely fantastic. The hotel restaurant offers delicious food - papaya salad, the best on the island:))They make You fell like You are in home. It was our second time in this place and we hope we will come back.Guest review byMichałPoland
- From US$98.15 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 8.9Fabulous - What previous guests thought, 791 reviewsThis is a beautifully located property - the beach is clean and massive, perfect for swimming and kayaking (which they provide). The rooms were cleaned thoroughly and had a beautiful view of the sea. It was a luxurious break, and was possibly the best part of Koh Mak for usGuest review bySnehaIndia
- Scored out of 10, guest rating 8.4Very good - What previous guests thought, 179 reviewssimple but clean and spacious room. All rooms have a little balcony where you can enjoy the peace and quiet. You get exactly what they advertise. The bad reviews are not justified! It's a bit off the grid but they rent out scooters and organise a taxi when needed.Guest review byMarieSwitzerland

Koh Mak is quite small but beautiful and has a lot of nature. Good kick-boxing school. Variety of good eating places Koh Mak seafood being one of them. It is far more relaxed than Koh Chang with less to do but I actually found the peacefulness and serenity more alluring. The people are friendly and it has a up early sleep when the sunsets kind of vibe but also if you want to be out later you can. There are some very picturesque beaches and bars. Also a variety of takes on food By the sea has great sandwiches etc. If the weather turns bad then this is when the boredom may be an issue. However I loved the thunderstorms and lightening shows. Best I had ever seen.Guest review byMarty TUnited Kingdom - 10.0

After researching on Google satellite I was pleasantly surprised when we arrived. Much lusher and more tourist-friendly than I expected. Though it's a small island, there's enough there to explore more than we could in 3 nights. And it is the ideal launching site to visit the famous diving and snorkeling sites around Koh Rang island. Five nights would be adequate, unless you're a snorkeling/diving addict, then maybe more.Guest review byFredUnited States - 8.0

Very small island which is still kind of rural and not very touristy. That also means that there are not many amenities or fun things you can do. Accommodations are more basic, food or bar options are limited, and you've seen all of the island in a few hours. But you can also have a perfect chill time without any noisy tourist crowds or big loud party areas. Beaches are great. If you want more action, just take the ferry to Ko Chang (once a day).Guest review byTyeJ_travelGermany
