“If you’re considering staying here, you should definitely read this: the hotel is absolutely beautiful. Designed by the owner Stacy, every little detail has been carefully thought out to make it cozy, comfortable, and perfect. We stayed at the Cactus Villa, which was stunning and truly felt like a home away from home. The photos online don’t do justice to this beautiful place—it’s even more incredible in person. The staff are incredibly kind, thoughtful, and accommodating—they go above and beyond to make your stay enjoyable. Lou Lou Restaurant was a highlight—the food was so good that we kept ordering more, and the pricing for both food and drinks was very reasonable compared to other hotels we’ve stayed in. Unfortunately, we experienced food poisoning during our last two days, but the staff were incredibly helpful and caring, doing everything they could to assist us. This hotel is truly unique—offering a boutique feel rather than a big resort vibe. If that’s what you’re looking for, this is the perfect spot for you. Special thanks to Keir, Ping Pong, Nici, Stacy, and Alex for making our stay unforgettable!!!

We had a great time for more than a week with my family with teenage kids. The place is great for a relaxing holiday far away from the busy north east areas of Samui. The bungalows are cosy and recently renovated, and the pool and dining area are comfortable for chilling out after beach days. Wifi is good, which was of help as I needed to occasionally do some work, while kids could play online video games. The location is very good within an greenery area with palm trees, however it is outside of busy towns so it is recommended to rent a motorbike or a car. Direct access to the beach requires a bit of walking while going to restaurants in the area requires transportation. Lipanoi beach (7-8 min by car/motorbike) is great with fine sand and clear water (we were there in early April). We highly appreciated the personal and friendly attitude of the owner Peter who is daily engaged in the place. He gave us many advice on best beaches, restaurants and sightseeing spots in the whole Samui, and all his advice turned out very valuable!

Their check in time closes at 6, so if you check in later, they have separate instructions for you. Location is fine, lots to do. Full moon party speedboat transfer was a 7 minute walk. Airport is close enough (10-15 mins). Room was very clean and spacious. Either the other guests were very quiet or the rooms are thick enough where you don’t hear everybody. Full balcony outside.

Sea view here is crazy! Waking up in the morning with the stunning view can heall your bad days! Staffs here is very kind and helpful. Location is not bad. There are local restaurants, coffee shop and convenient stores nearby. Traveling in Koh Samui will be super convenient when you rent a car bike which the manager can help you arrange it! Breakfast is not a buffet but it's a great quality dishes so 10/10 for me. Cleanliness and Hygiene is also perfect score. Thank you all staffs for making our stay a memorable one. Definitely come back again on my next Samui trip!

This hotel is really clean and very well laid out! The rooms were fabulous and had great views and excellent air conditioners for the hot days! The pool is large and luxurious and the hotel is right on a beautiful and private stretch of Lamai beach! The breakfast buffet was excellent with a mix of Thai and American food options. The landscaping and details were all very well maintained. We loved the relaxed atmosphere and quiet nature of this property!

Palm Trees and Pristine Seas

One of Thailand’s most famous islands, Koh Samui (or Ko Samui) is a tropical paradise whose palm trees emerge from the pristine white sands at unbelievable angles, and whose offshore reefs make for great diving.

The most developed resort is Chaweng, though most bars and clubs are set back from the beautiful beach, so the views are still wonderful. Slightly less lively is Lamai, though its beach is no less impressive. Both of these resorts are home to a large number of Koh Samui hotels with private pools, a popular requirement of many visitors, despite the wonderfully warm waters.

Lipa Noi in the west faces Thailand’s east coast and has some beautiful sunsets, while the northern fishing village of Bo Phut is gaining in popularity. Nearby Mae Nam and Cheong Mon both have sweeping beaches that gently shelve into the sea, making them popular family choices.

Travellers don't go tot Koh Samui for its sights – but interesting attractions include the Big Buddha at Bangrak’s Wat Phra Yai temple, and the Wat Khunaram Ko Samui temple inland from Hua Thanon.

Staff was World Class in accomadating my physical disabilities. They even ran to my aid with an umbrella when it rained! I never had to carry a suitcase or bags my entire stay, And I had quite a few. The view took me away in the paradise I was actually in. It was spectacular! I had a pool side room for my 8 nights, with a private balcony overlooking the ocean. The grounds were immaculate and I enjoyed watching the groundws keeper perform his duty with so much joy and pride of workmanship. The staff ALWAYS greeted me with bright shiny smiles. My room was spotless and made up for me each day on my return. The mini bar was always stocked to my bewilderment. My bed was comfy and inviting with fresh picked plumeria flowers on the spread. The breakfasts were beyond exceptional. I have never in my life seen such an exquisite morning spread as they put on in their resturant. You could literally have any and everything you can think of, and then some. I didn't want to leave it to come back home, as they made me feel like royalty. I have never been treated so well anywhere in my life as at the Code Samui. Im going back! Oh, I can't forget-when you go, you have to book a full body Thai Massage or a believe foot massage at their NUT SPA. I promise you will walk away enlightened and rejuvenated.

This was hands down the highlight of our honeymoon trip. Everything on all accounts was 5 star. From the staff, to the facilities, to our villa it was all amazing. We got a poolside massage that was also incredible. The breakfast was 4 hours long to accommodate all schedules. There was an app to request things or look at events happening, they were responsive. The Choengmon beach area was quieter which we liked. Their taxi service was actually cheaper than grab and we used it frequently. Everything was so well thought out and amazing, we looked at many other hotels but so glad we decided to go with this one. We were sad to leave!

I love it here . Has everything and anything.

I love it here . Has everything and anything. For me I like the beach , the restaurants, the markets and am happy to do that all day at one of the beach front bungalows. But there is plenty of night life if you want it . A lively place, lovely locals, easy to go other places on the island with taxis . The beach is beautiful. Warm water . Food and drinks along the beach .lots to see and do in the town. So many restaurants to choose from . Capybara cafe is so funny had a great time there . The night markets are great

Love Silver Beach, garden was glorious at Promsuk Suri, but staff rather miserable, no customer care. Couldn’t even offer us a clean towel when changing prior to our flight we had to use a wet sandy towel from the beach!! I guess we were lucky that we had a shower we could use as we had already checked out and had a late flight.

The Fisherman's Village was fantastic.

The Fisherman's Village was fantastic. No car or scooter access at night made for lovely walks along the street, seeing the markets and bars and restaurants in relative peace. Plus none of the typical sleazy Thai bars/clubs.

The beach is really calm and easy to swim except the occasional rock u hit ur feet to.. it’s like having a private beach from the property. Would need a scooter to go around but have good number of restaurant supermarkets etc around.

Beautiful smallish beach Nice to Walk to the end and to the cape fahn on separate private island - we went in the water was pretty clean little murky but probably was just the day and the fact that there are so many hotels on the island

This is a great tourist destination.

This is a great tourist destination. Glad we went during the low-season as it made for small, tolerable crowds. Plenty of activities and sights to do and see - we only brushed the surface with our short time there. Go for at least one week. Two would be better. The surrounding Gulf of Thailand offered lake-like calm, turquoise waters. Views everywhere are stunning. We Weill have to return again in the future. Highly recommend, especially the low-season.

There are only two bungalows facing the beach and they are AMAZING!! We did not want to leave our hotel. Some of the other rooms looked nice too but faced the garden walkway. One bungalow faced a concrete wall. You get what you pay for. Loved this place so much.

Very friendly people and going to a night market is a great experience! Traveling across the island is easy but it may get a bit costly if you have to take a van for 6 or 8 people. Beaches on the east side are nice but busy. Beaches on the west are less crowded but may get narrow and untidy due to the tides. Overall we were missing the very long beaches with plenty of palm trees and powder-soft sand. Worth a visit are higher areas of the island in middle, e.g. Dee's Chilling Hill restaurant. Also going to the Ang Thong Marine park is very nice.

Chaweng Noi Beach was one of my favorite spots on Koh Samui. It’s incredibly beautiful — soft white sand, calm turquoise water, and a peaceful atmosphere that feels like a little escape from the busier parts of the island. I loved how quiet and relaxed it was, perfect for swimming or just lying under the sun. The view with the green hills around was stunning. That said, it’s not the best during low tide — the rocks and coral can make it tricky to get in the water. Also, there’s not much going on nearby in terms of shops or nightlife, and some areas can get a bit pricey because of the luxury resorts. Still, for a calm beach day with amazing views, I’d go back in a heartbeat.

Loved our room! It was very spacious,clean & comfortable. The bed and pillows met our expectations. The pool was huge! Great for children or grown ups. A very ambient,quiet resort set on the beach front. The beach chairs are very comfortable and the best place to chill with a book or take in the amazing views. The staff are super friendly and helpful. The location is very peaceful and we ordered a taxi or grab to go to dinner in the evening. We had drinks at the Hotel pub one evening. Overall a great stay & value for the rates. The breakfast was sufficient …eggs and fresh fruit/toast/pastries. Handy if you have a motor bike to get around the Island as grab is expensive. .
