Everything was exceptional. The hotel is new, located in the center of Goreme, 10 min walk to an amazing balloon / sunset watching spot. Cave city and most famous nearby valleys is within 5-10 min by car. We arrived unexpectedly early, before check-in hours, however the manager welcomed us very nicely, offered some coffee, and checked in without any additional charge. They also upgraded our room with a shower to a room with jacuzzi. Breakfast hours are 8:30 to 10:30 which usually works fine regardless of which activities are planned for the day. There's a place to park a car and you don't need to reserve which is very convenient. They don't have a pool but they have some agreement with a neighbouring hotel that their guests can use that pool (outside) - we didn't try though as it was quite cold.

Location was central to Göreme and easily walkable throughout the town center. If you don't have a car then I'd recommend renting one or, doing a guided tour if the attractions as they can be far and difficult on foot. The Hotel and Restaurant was awesome - the morning restaurant manager, Murat Bey and his staff were exceptional - I didn't get everyone's names but Yaşar served us a couple of times along with a few other staff. They always anticipated our needs and went out of their way to ensure we were comfortable.

The location was central and close to the downtown. The deluxe room was quiet and had a good view of the city. The staff was friendly and helpful when I found out that the jacuzzi in our room was not working. It was fixed in just 10 minutes. We ate a nice dinner at the On8 restaurant. The breakfast at Safran restaurant had a variety of foods and exceeded our expectations. We enjoyed total relaxation in the wellness area with a large swimming pool, sauna, and massages!

The Argos in Capadoccia is a unique hotel in the sense that is a number of many buildings scattered in the village but connected and that it is quite charming. The hotel has a lot of original houses and very old places (like a chapel, a cellar, a museum, etc). The room was a cave, with a fireplace. Service was amazing, everyone was super kind. The SPA offered all type of treatments, an indoor pool, etc. Views from different points of the hotel were so beatiful.

Goreme is a small town full of life coming from locals in their stores and shops and Turists willing to meet people. I enjoyed to know people that is full of Turkish traditions different from Istambul, Ballon experience is amazing and exciting. You can feel the magic of nature in the sky and looking the sunrise from th hights.

We loved Ankara.

We loved Ankara. Very often probably under the radar compared to other more touristic destinations in Turkiye. We spent a couple of days and in hindsights could have spent some more time to enjoy the very vibrant atmosphere in the city, very secure and sparkling with all its bars, restaurants and shops. People in Ankara are very friendly and we loved the hospitality. The center is very well connected and can explore walking the streets. Loved that there are so many people and life even late in the evening and night! Some places we liked were the Kizilay area, the stunning Kocatepe mosque, Hamamonou Tarihi historical area and loved so much the bazaar and market (Anafartalar) just walking distance. Loved that it was a very local bazaar with so many local shops!

Nice little town with loads of places to see but the theme is more or less the same, different shape stones in different places and valleys. The balloon experience, either in or off, is amazing to see.

This was a lovely city. there is so much to see especially if you are staying in the older part of the city. I loved walking around the city sightseeing. You would find the most unexpected shopping experience as well as cultural. The people are also nice here gives you a small town vibe.

Urgup is small town but has a lot of very nice local restaurants, no chains!! A number of small shops selling local produce and the usual souvenir shops. Is you want a lot of hustle and bustle choose somewhere else but if you want somewhere a little more chilled and authentic this is the place.

Kayseri is a historical treasure.

Kayseri is a historical treasure. The historical museums are awesome, especially the new archaeology museum in the castle. It also has a lot of surviving Seljuk-Mongol buildings from the 13th and 14th century that are almost unique. It is often overlooked because Kappadokya is right next door, but it shouldn't be.

Eskisehir cam be called the Venice of Turkey. Beautiful canals with Gondolas, cafes and meyhanes along the banks, gorgeous romantic bridges....very charming. Eskisehir can also boast a spectacular old quarter, called the Odunpazari, with its antique atmosphere, world class museum of modern art, and its open air market. Transport is easy and efficient with its excellent tramway system. The new High Speed Railway makes it easy to get to from Istanbul, Izmir, and Ankara, as well as other places..Folk in Eskisehir are relaxed, helpful, friendly, and know that they are lucky! It is a lovely small town next to Goreme (famous for the hot air balloon rides and pointed rock structures) so its a short ride away with none of the hustle and bustle of a touristy town. It has many local restaurants and coffee shops within walking distance, to eat at without breaking the bank. There is a promenade with on the river with jungle gyms and play areas for little kids. And fishing is also possible from the banks of the river.

Ortahisar is a beautiful little town.

Ortahisar is a beautiful little town. It’s quite quiet but a short taxi ride into slightly busier Goreme. I’m glad we stayed in Ortahisar though as it was much more relaxing and quaint. Hisarönü Restaurant was our favourite place to eat - fantastic food, lovely Cappadocian wine and shisha. We even got given a free slice of cake as it was the owners birthday. Highly recommend!
