Erzurum is a place for ski-holiday in Palandoken.
Erzurum is a place for ski-holiday in Palandoken. The hotel is a 10 minute drive from the ski resort, which is perfect. Erzurum is a very traditional city in the far east of Turkey. There are really extremely nice and friendly people there. The atmosphere is very friendly and gentle.Guest review byegbertNetherlands - 10.0

The views of the surrounding snow capped mountains were truly beautiful. Friendly welcoming people & the food was very good. Very easy getting around & the taxi operators were pleasant. A very good value for money short holiday. The boat trip on Lake Van to Akdamar Island was beautiful & interesting.Guest review byIsmailSouth Africa - 10.0
It's a Turkish city like no other.
It's a Turkish city like no other. As few as four decades of the Russian Empire here made it look very different. Yet, its history has been much longer, and one can see many layers. The nearby ancient ruins of Ani and natural beauty of the Lake Çıldır, a very mild summer, peculiar and mouthwatering local food specialties will just add to your overwhelming excitement.Guest review byAnton R.Russia - 10.0

A city with very many friendly and helpful persons whatever you do, and I felt safe all the time. I stayed only overnight twice in a week, but I will always remember how nice it was meeting other people in Erzerum as well as people on buses and trains. Yes, this goes for people in Turkey as well, way over my expectationsGuest review byErikPersonSweden - 8.0

Van is a charming city located in the eastern part of Turkey and is in close proximity to the Iranian border. It serves as a popular destination for many people who travel from Iran by car for short holidays and shopping trips. What makes Van especially appealing is the availability of numerous Turkish franchise brands, allowing visitors to enjoy reliable and affordable shopping experiences, often at lower prices compared to Istanbul. Additionally, the city boasts a wide range of excellent restaurants and delicious cuisine, surpassing the quality and affordability of many establishments in Istanbul. I highly recommend Van to anyone seeking an affordable and enjoyable travel experience in Turkey.Guest review bySaeedUnited Kingdom - 8.0

Kars itself is a cold, high, frontier town, in what was Russia late in the 19th Century, feels oddly like Alaska (also Russian then). A big fortress, lovely gardens below, but polluted river and the odd packs of large stray dogs. More like huskies, not hostile, but unnerving. Some far older buildings too, well restored overall. A lively music scene too, it seems, both classical and folk, the latter commemorated in lines of severe portrait busts. Modern airport, and taxi drivers give free Kurdish lessons. In the end I suspect, for most, a useful, vibrant, waystation to Ani, the incredible lost city on a gorge, next to the Armenian border.Guest review byCharles RUnited Kingdom - 8.0

There isn't a lot of the old town and castle left, but what is there is worth a visit if you are going for the winter sports or for a walk in the mountains. Or even if you are there for work. The local kebabs are excellent and there are plenty of good restaurants in the town. Taxis are plentiful, I didn't see much in terms of public transport.Guest review byNigelUnited Kingdom - 8.0

Am working since 20 years at 5 stars hotels. The hotel certainly exceeded our expectations, from the moment we arrived, the staff were friendly and very helpful and very accommodating. Me and my nephew were impressed with the hotel and bathroom. The manager Mr Caner very nice person and front desk and bell boy very friendly and helpful. Breakfast could be better. I would recommend this hotel to everyoneGuest review byMr SafarGermany
