The property needed some love and care, in terms of interior, however despite the age of the hotel, it was clean, calming and safe. The staff were so professional and friendly. I had a short stay but kept coming to have lunch with my children. Our room was quadruple triple room, very spacious for the time that we needed. The food was great! The bed was so comfortable and clean.
House cleaning came everyday to clean. I speak Swahili which made things a lot easier. I would recommend trying learn a few words to have a better communication with the staff. You must call 1 hour in advance for order food as everything is made fresh! We hardly got bitten by mosquitoes because the place was well secure.
Every time I needed help the staff were attentive and made my stay very comfortable.

The breakfast was not included so I can't rate it. Our apartment actually was like an independent house, really nice and comfortable and also had a fully equipped kitchen with fridge. The host was a very kind and helpful person who assisted in any way necessary and spoke a very fluent English. We also ordered the airport transfer from host and everything worked well.

The photos and information about the hotel didn't really give an idea about the view and proximity to the beach. But once we reached and saw it, found it awesome. You could seat in the balcony of a sea facing room for hours or just come out of the hotel and take a stroll to enjoy the sea. A very well laid out and well maintained hotel. The GM went out of the way to meet us, look after us and even offered to upgrade the room which we politely refused because the sea facing room offered itself was so good. The breakfast was elaborate and excellent. Even the dinner and drinks were too good.
