More Than A Drop (MTAD) is an oasis in Moshi. I stayed for about a week in February 2025. MTAD is located just outside of Moshi. Although I mostly just walked to town tuk tuks or motorcycle rides come by every minute or two. Ths staff are friendly and helpful. They accomodated any request including 5 AM breakfast. Milli arranged for transportation and advised on tours. The breakfast and dinners were delicious offering traditional local dishes as well as conventional favorites. Especially mango sorbet! Much is grown in the gardens. Everything is prepared in house, including fresh baked breads and cakes in the morning. The facility is spotlessly clean. I spent many hours relaxing in the shade on a setee or sipping cold lager on the patio. My time there will be remembered as a hilight of my trip.

Hello Folks , Incredible stay at this lovely retreat Feb 4 to Feb 6th 2025 !! Even though this retreat was highly rated it exceeded my expectations in regards to the existing review ratings !! It has beautiful accommodations with a Spa like feel, high quality rooms and bedding, with exceptional design. The property is absolutely stunning with beautiful landscape vegetation and flowers everywhere, outdoor pool with swim up cocktail bar, fire pit area, nicely appointed lounging areas, and comfortable outdoor dining areas. The Breakfast and food is delicious and the whole retreat is sparkling clean ! The quality of service is well above average from this retreat, with outstanding Management ( Manny and staff ) they were attentive, polite, and super helpful in all aspects of their service, these folks go above and beyond to serve you ! My wife and I are fairly well travelled ..Canada, US, New Zealand, Australia, South America, Mexico, Cuba, Dominican, Ukraine, Thailand, Dubai, Africa .. Shose Chalets exceeded my expectations. The bedrooms are separate units with a private garden and a verandah which I spent relaxing days reading or napping. I didnt feel like I was staying at a hotel as the units are individual suites. The grounds are lovely and well maintained. There is even a clothes line out back to hang clothes. A breakfast of juice, tea/coffee, omelette, pancakes is served by the lovely Stellah on the verandah of the chalet. Peter, the Manager, is always available to answer questions or resolve issues. The location is about 5km from the centre of Moshi. Peter will arrange a tuk tuk or taxi (about TZS6000) with Baracka. — I even went up to the waterfalls with Baracka on a tuk tuk which I would highly recommend. He is a safe and knowledgeable guide. This is the perfect place to relax before or after safari or climbing Kilimanjaro.

A quiet place surrounded by a lot of nature. Occasionally exotic birds and monkeys visit. The rooms are spacious, clean and comfortable. Kilimanjaro seen from the room is the best. All hotel staff are very kind and friendly. The breakfast is hearty and very delicious. A hotel that I would like to stay again soon.

    My experience at Keys Hotel was most enjoyable. The hotel has everything it needs for a great stay: comfortable bungalows, a very nice pool and a restaurant on a nice veranda, which offers a large selection of excellent dishes from different cuisines (local, Indian, Chinese, and even a dedicated pizza baker). The location is also very convenient as you can easily walk into town from the hotel. The cherry on the cake is the lovely personnel that truly makes you feel like you are at home and gave my stay a very familiar touch - from the porter over the team at reception to the waiters and waitresses (Marietha and Charles, to name only two). Everybody there is really caring and so open and warm-hearted. I can most warmly recommend Keys Hotel to everybody.

    A very nice and calm place. The five Villas are beautiful and its great with the seating area outside. Interior is nice, the beds are firm and the Roms are spacious. The restaurant is Well kept, with a great breakfast buffet. A supermarket is close by. The pool area is relaxing, gym facilities with everything you Can ask for. And a view of Kilimanjaro if the weather allows it. I will come back.

    Apart of beautiful lodges localized in the Moshi suburbs, this hotel seems to be the one of the best localized in the city center of the town. Rooms proposed by the hotel has a very different sizes. Bathroom in the rooms and breakfast buffet are basic but nothing is missing. We were extremely satisfied about the service. Everyone was very helpful and kind. Nothing was a problem.

    Everything was perfect. The hotel is in the city center, and there is an amazing view of the Kilimanjaro and the sunset from the rooftop bar. My room was big with a comfortable bed and I paid a very good price for a private room, less, than I paid for a shared dorm on the other side of the road previously. Everyone from the staff way very kind.

    Moshi is a friendly mid sized town. The street markets are nice to visit and there are numerous day trips to experience. It is great to visit before or after your Kilimanjaro/Meru hike or safari. People are friendly and helpful here and I felt very safe.

    Go to the Arusha, there have more choose. And there is much more bigger than Moshi. And will get more convenient. I like go to local market there have lots of fresh foods you can touch the culture of locally person.

    A very awesome visit in Moshi thanks to Moshi Hostel Lodge staff. Jenes, Gaudensi and Vitalis are great hosts, lots of fun and very accommodating. We watched TV in the main house living room in the evening. The next morning we had a lovely breakfast and planned our day. Lots to do around Moshi. Next time, I need to stay longer and this is the place I will be. Thank you for the hospitality.

    Walk around the property. Many things to do in Moshi. Indioitaliano has the best Pizza in moshi. Be sure to get a view of Kilimanjaro. From the rooftop bar. Rafiki Supermarkets have a great selection of items. Waterforlife statue at round about on the main road. If Hostel life is for you make sure to see what Hostel Hoff has to offer.
