FAQs about hotels in Manhattan
Wake Up in the City That Never Sleeps
Nothing prepares you for your first glimpse of Manhattan. This legendary island is everything you’ve seen and read. And more.
Its most famous skyscraper is the Empire State Building, though some argue that views from the Top of the Rock in the Rockerfeller Centre are even better as they actually feature NYC’s most iconic building. Equally unmistakable is the Chrysler Building, overlooking Grand Central Station whose interior is pristine.
Wandering Times Square it’s easy to see why this city never sleeps. Broadway, with its theatres, runs through it and continues to Central Park, a haven of greenery. At its midway point is the Metropolitan Museum of Art, and MoMA is another museum nearby.
Other midtown Manhattan attractions include Radio City Music Hall and St Patrick’s Cathedral, while further south are the intriguing districts of Greenwich Village, Little Italy and Chinatown. Streets in between house the bastions of New York shopping – Macy’s, Bloomingdales and Saks Fifth Avenue.
However, the real business goes down at Manhattan’s southernmost tip, where Wall Street houses the New York Stock Exchange. North-west is the Ground Zero Memorial, while from southern Battery Park ferries depart to Ellis Island and the Statue of Liberty.
Space is at a premium in NYC so there aren’t many Manhattan hotels with free parking. However, Booking.com does offer great Manhattan hotel deals, including cheaper options.

- Scored out of 10, guest rating 8.6Fabulous - What previous guests thought, 7,143 reviewsI arrived at the hotel earlier around the noon, when the room I booked was not ready. However, a staff Dana (possibly) found a room available and upgraded it without additional charge. This was so good for us to relax ourselves on a bed , because I and especially my family did barely take a blink of sleep at the previous night due to our early departure in the dawn. The breakfast was normally good with a variety. The fruits and dairy products were generally fresh. The location is at the downtown and close to my destination as well as main attractions in Manhattan. I think the room charge is quite acceptable considering the accessibility, cleanness, and safety.Guest review byPAEHWANSouth Korea
- From US$765.95 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 8.1Very good - What previous guests thought, 1,853 reviewsThe best part was the exceptional helpfulness and friendliness of the reception staff and restaurant staff. We also loved the whole concept of a hotel like a village. Smaller rooms yes, but so well designed that we marveled over how well the design functioned. Then the idea of going down to the working space, lounge, or up to the roof terrace, being able to get a coffee or tea 24 hours. You would never feel like anything was too much trouble. Perfectly clean - an excellent hotel and we will be back. Thank you!Guest review byPhyllis MossmanNew Zealand

Room with balcony and pool view was lovely - clean, modern, comfortable. Room cleaned everyday with fresh towels. Price was very reasonable compared to other hotels that are just average for the same price. I would definitely stay there again and recommend to friends&family.Guest review byGráinneIreland

The airport shuttle, MTA , hotel, access was very close to each other. Uber option was right in front at of the exit terminals and at the front drive up, in the front of the hotel. We saw the Lion King on Broadway. It was awesome. We loved the New York style pizza around time square area. We loved the tall skyscraper buildings. We did not have as much time as we would like, Other travelers would have to be aware of the scheduling times of the services, which are available. Especially when weather conditions are not so great! The MTA takes you to SHEA, or Yankee Stadiums, mid-Manhattan where your choice of Broadway shows, Museums, Parks, tour the local college campuses, Movies, Churches, Boat rides, Ellis Island tour, Trade Center, Wall street, financial district, clothing, shoe, variety stores , Jewelry, car and boat dealers, arts and crafts shops, Empire State bldg, Chrysler bldg, game show and talk show studios. Rockefeller NBC area. Safe travels and enjoy !!Guest review byGuyUnited States - 6.0

From the periodic information passengers were able to get my United flight to Portland Maine was repeatedly delayed and then cancelled because the plane would not be able to land once it arrived. Apparently the problems on 4 September were building up throughout the day. Before the flight from LA landed my daughter in Sydney, Australia messaged me to tell there were ”shenanigans” at Newark.Guest review byMargaretAustralia - 10.0

We were traveling from central PA to visit the Statue of Liberty and didn't want to make the trip in one day, so we decided to get lodging the night prior to our day trip. We debated on whether to stay in New Jersey or New York. We searched for rooms and this motel in Jersey City seemed like a good choice. It was perfect. We walked to a coffee shop in Jersey City and felt quite safe. We passed many solo joggers, mothers with small children and bicyclists. The part of the city we were in was very clean. We were pleasantly surprised.Guest review byCornelius - 2.0

Bronx is a good place but the house and all the shenanigans about no one picking the call but texting only. I thought it was a hotel not knowing it’s a house in some dark places in Bronx. I texted the person back that I’m not interested because I feel uncomfortable and have asked for a refund of $203. Shiiii….Guest review byPhilip - 10.0

After landing at Liberty, we rented a car for our tours of NYC. Finding and paying for parking in NYC was a difficulty I could live without. Fortunately, most tolls were paid with the car rental agreement. The Secaucus location was perfect for driving, but the buses stop right outside the hotel. If it were available to guests, more information on bus routes to the City's main attractions, as well as details on paying for bus and subway toll passes and wheelchair accessibility, would be helpful and might change how a traveler chooses to get around.Guest review byReyesUnited States - 6.0
