I arrived early and was able to be booked in about 45 minutes before my official time, which was nice. The first thing that stands out about Sapphire is the mid 20th century vibe, which a lot of authentic pieces. The room even had a rotary phone. Parking for the room was right out front which made loading and unloading very easy and it was a short jaunt to central Bozeman.

The smell of the room when I walked in was amazing. It smelt not only clean but like it had gotten ready for a nice date. I dont know what smell it was, but it was amazing! My room was clean and I put my own hair products away because they have Tarocco shower products, which I just love! I had never been to Montana before, but if this is what I can expect, I'll definitely be returning! Great staff, very quiet even though I assume they had a good number of guests based on the number of cars in the parking lot. Zero issues parking in their large lot WITH Security cameras. As a woman traveling alone, I felt safe and comfortable here.

Since we were in what I would call the in-between season at Whitefish, I'd say we were lucky to be able to get reservations at the restaurants when and where we wanted. I suspect that's not the case during peak skiing season. The town of Whitefish has a charming center with lots of interesting shops. Most importantly, they are a lot of really good eating establishments. We had breakfast at The Lodge at Whitefish twice because it was convenient and actually affordable compared to other eateries in town. We ate all of our dinners around town because the lodge was considered over prices for dinner. It's a town that's easy to get around and most enjoyable.
